Haha. You sound happy. biggrin.gif

But yes, deloitte do hire ppl who is half way in their professional papers, the position they will get is called audit trainee, and I think its 2.3k.

Lets say you join at June and youre waiting for your final paper results, once you pass your final one, yuor pay will auto go up to 3.2k tho, which is ppl with qualification and new joiner punya rate. Degree only 3k.

Did deloitte sponsor the remaining of that guy's ACCA? Do you think now is a good time to apply although I haven't finished my F papers?

Err. All depends whether you can handle studying part time or not. And also if youre young, there is no need to rush it.

Cos my family is not well off financially. I wish to work asap and get my ACCA papers sponsored. I dont mind studying part time and getting low pay too. Really hope deloitte or big4 will consider my application because I dont have a degree. Only Acca halfway. Not sure if they will ><

Yes, you can. I have an Indonesian friend who graduated from local university and joined one of the Big 4 Malaysia.

Not just Indonesian, there are Filipinos, Pakistani, Vietnamese, and other nationalities who work in Big 4 Malaysia.

You will learn more in mid firms, but working in big4 makes it easier for you to enter back the same firm as permanent staff in the future.

As always , Big4 > mid tier > small firms

Big 4 have better exposure, better branding, and also much proper audit approach and training provided.

If you want to work in a Big 4 after you graduate, you might as well apply for an internship at a Big 4 and do the best you can (& get a good feedback). Looks better on your CV than a small firm, although what's most important is definitely your marks.

Youre qualified and 3.3 is sufficient, just be prepared for an answer why you didnt join curricular activities last time for your interview.

Big 4 Advisory accepts fresh grads, but they tend to prefer overseas grads with good grades and excellent command of English.

Advisory starting pay will be higher than tax and audit.

Yes, but its rare. You'd have to be quite exceptional. Thing is, many of the advisory/ consulting associates have prior work experience before joining, whether by hiring choice or just the general view that "you'd need x years of audit experience before applying".
