hello,guys, i am new here and today is my first day of joining this forum. may i know normally wat are the basic requirements needed to join internship under big four?

i deciding to join under PWC.... is it true as wat PWC has mentioned that applicants dont need to attend interview session ?it mentions applicants just need to submit detailed information about academic achievement and cocu in online application.

currently i am third year first sem student of MMU,taking degree in accounting.is it possible for a second upper to get successful in applying internship??

OK guys, I'm in my final year Degree in Accounting & Finance, CGPA below 2.5... (I know it sucks)

I received a call today from KPMG after sending my resume and results on Sunday. They called me to start work at KPMG (Miri) tommorow, the funny thing is I'm wondering how to ask if whether i'll be paid any allowance during my internship.

Does anyone know how much allowance they provide?

Its not that I'm looking forward to the allowance/salary.. Just wondering. Since a friend is asking, and I said I don't know

think u can apply earlier..tell them in the cover letter than your results will be out on which date..
give them results u have till now..if they see your results are good, they'll assume you'll be
getting quite good results for the final as well. Secure an interview slot first, then when you're called
for interview and your results are out from the oven..you can bring them to the interview and show them.

Does big4 see which university were from before accepting our resume ?

Depends which medium firm and I guess depends on ur interview as well.

Some might not discount ur experience, some might discount 6 months, some even 1 year.

Dont give up bro, at first i was like you also, making alot of mistakes, manager thinks I'm blur. Just stay strong, ask around, dont wait for supervisor to teach.

Quick tip, if u don't know where to start, study prior year or other sample working papers, an important thing to keep in mind while thinking how to start is think what is the objective ur work? most of the time is the audit assertions, then now think what kind of procedure u should perform, what kind of test u should do to obtain that assertion, most of the time these kind of thing is common sense and not at all very technical.
