Has anyone noticed that their cap also now applies to LOCAL connections?

Send email to them or calling their customer support = wasting your time. I called them everyday, but the problem still exists.

Maybe because everyone is calling support to complain about the international speed and they are telling everyone to test with local speedometer speed. The speedometer server is tired and cannot cope...

Yes genius, thanks for stating the obvious and expecting me to go to TMpoint located <1km down the road and asking them myself, I intentionally subscribed to the 1mbps package and kept my mouth shut. Now read the quote again and TRY to understand, I'm not forcing you to answer 
Thanks, I kinda tried doing that already and well guess what

if you notice the page title (on the tab or titlebar) ...

1) First load of the page is somehow locked to a certain number (forgotten if it is IP or session ID, or something else). Speedtest is almost as per package speed.

2) Once 1st run of speedtest finish, RERUN again. it will slow down tremendously and does not show the "full speed" from the 1st run.

3) REFRESH the speedtest ™ page, and you'll get another number on the tab/titlebar. Speedtest returns to "normal".
the cycle continues.
p/s: If you are on-hold while talking to the Customer Service, he/she mention that they are "monitoring" our speedtest testing.

I have a feeling that TM's speedtest is RIGGED to give you FALSE connection speed and ROUTED/TAPPED for their monitoring.  

I really hope TIME fiber optic can fast fast spread nationwide so that we all can ABANDON this tmNUT who squeeze us for so many years!!!!!!

Hey man TM is trolling you and saying theres no 4Mbps. It's ok I got troll too when I decided to up my package to 4Mbps this year seeing as my neighbour behind my house got it, I thought "jiran aku ada, takkan aku takdaaaa" then I kena troll at TMpoint

If they say your area is not supported, then you can either:

i. Give up and move on with your live.
ii. Contact a reseller at lowyat forum and ask them to do inside job.

But why would you want to up your package? You got cabel inside to uncap is it ?? Better you wait for unifail and get unifail biz where it's not cap, PERIOD.
