Ya bro, that's nothing wrong with LeeDroid, it's best Sense Rom available for android user. But i am speed chaser and like to show off my Desire infront of my colleague who is using IP4. every since i switched to Gingerbread, the speed blows his IP4 away.

i've tried aosp rom but i dunno how to restore my sms and calendar entry on aosp rom...seems incompatible....

Bro, try SMS backup and restore from the market. that will slove your SMS headache. If you need cool widget to add event into your calender, try launcher pro plus 0.8 and above.(of coz jack sparrow ver)

Recently i and found out how to join facebook contact with my phone contact, meaning attached email and photo to your phone contact. with that i think i will be sticking to Oxygen for quite long time unless LeeDroid come out with Sense Gingerbread ROM.

Thanks for the answer. In that case, can i just buy any USB wall charger? Does it needs to be specific what voltage etc?? I think i'll just buy a cheap compatible wall charger if it's ok to put in the office.

btw, what is this battery re-calibrating some the guys here keeps talking about? How do you do it??

Some cheap USB chargers can make the touchscreen go crazy. Like for example if you leave the screen unlocked and you charge it, the screen will end up pressing random stuff

Best way is to check the voltage output and mA output. If its the same with the original charger, it should be safe to buy that one.

Battery recalibrating is basically completely draining the battery and then recharging it to full again.

Bro, try to buy 5V, beyond 5V will freeze your screen, i have one with my and i scare to use it coz scared it will spoil my Desire

How much is ori charger? Can it be use for other HTC phones as well???

Rule of thumb: Voltage must me SAME, Amp must be HIGH.

That being said, as long as the voltage is the same (5V), you can even use a blackberry charger to charge your desire.

My HTC Legend's ori charger works fine on a Nexus One and a Wildfire, so it should be ok

No need to argue whether sense or no sense.. as long as we are using Desire it's all Good, just try to find the best ROM to suit your taste GOOD.

U know why i said that? i've been chatting with certain cyanogenmod devs(kali-/defer/mad-murdock) and i know a bit how the system works so i'm totally going for AOSP forever after talking to them. and i am totally leaving oxygen and going for CM. hoho...i always going back to sense after some time but not anymore.
