Back to Leedroid! Keen on trying HD rom but nah i can wait. Oxygen v1.0 is out!

No lah. Still love CM. Just that i missed htc dialer. CM is still faster than any sense-based rom for me. Maybe i'll go back to it when the final 6.1 is released. and i might try Oxygen too. Havent get a chance to try.

CM is still the best in terms of speed and i dont like using A2SD+ too, but i really miss the htc dialer. The best dialer ever makes me come back to sense since i cant get used to other dialer no matter how much i tried.

any oXygen user here? just wanna share how awesome this rom is! Most stable AOSP rom i believe. Even CM6.1 stable cant beat it, still got some bugs.

well CM has been developed for a long time so should have most features. i love their features but got some bugs/FC made me staying away from it. they have most themes created for them so thats the good part.

Just wait, adam is good. Trust me. He listens to every person. thats why i love his rom since OD. improves cuz of people, not for himself.

just updagraded to Oxygen HBOOT and flashed 2.0 RC4!

even 1.0.4 have the compatibility issue? cuz 2.0 is still in RC and video are not working due to the limited graphic drivers.

uurgh lol it was normal there was no gmaps in there for oxygen. it got removed by adam is recent updates. just download it from market...its a small problem why you want to wipe~~

u need to fake provider by using the market enabler cuz maps are not in free market. its free but its in the paid market.


i'm staying with adam. it has the best speed for me. i never use any richard's rom. Defrost(he only imitates adam's work), for ginger villain, i can see the pattern too). But he is a good dev, he develops kernels and stuffs but adam is my favourite.

I love Nexus, Evo and Incredible though. Not only so many roms,but themes, mods and customizations are limitless.

Most of them especially Nexus themers are asked by Desire owners to port their stuffs. I wish they are more designers for Desire.

I would get Desire HD since its more elegant. the design is cool. but you'll miss one thing, on DHD, you cant find decent AOSP roms like you will on Desire or Nexus. so you'll stuck with sense all the way. unless you are a regular phone user, just buy and use it like normal people did - no root, no extra customizations, no extra tweaks. so if u are that kind of poeple, get HD. if you are hacker/modder minded like most of us, get Desire, cuz DHD aint too much difference. i would wait for a newer and much improved phone over that.

i dont know but i think its not necessary. unless poll just wanted to know. if using poll cuz you cant decide which one to use, then no point since you'll eventually try them all as time goes by. once you flash a custom rom, you never stop flashing and you will become excited when a new version is out even you did not use that rom.

Everything as klemann said. and remember, nandroid first. it never hurts. radio will stay even you flash a new rom for hundreds of times.


Applications should be the same for both since they are running android. but currently devs are more into Desire. dont know bout the future but now the DHD dev are still small. if you are not into modifying things, then go for DHD. its the latest and you got nothing to lose. if you are using Desire and use it normally, kinda wasted cuz Desire has lot more to offer.. hahaha...root + s-off + custom roms = Epic!

Yep absolutely. I'm sticking with Oxygen but i still flash other roms to try it out, or maybe sticking for about a week after getting interested with other roms. its normal. People who flash custom roms are all the same.

not much if you are not always copying/deleting system files and if you dont need custom hboot. Seeing you use sense rom, you dont need it.

the rest is for the system so thats why. you cant change that unless you flash a custom hboot partition.

Benefit? bigger space! and faster if you use Oxygen Hboot, but it is especially for oxygen.

for rooting and flashing roms, no need to be scared. so if you root to install custom roms, its ok already.

The risky part is; Flashing radio, S-off, flashing custom hboot.

You should be good if you follow the steps obidently cuz if you are not, brick!

i screw up rooting many times and my phones are still ok. and btw, after s-off, you can flash radio through fastboot which is the safest. so once you s-off, every risk go away...

i was once a CM6 nightly addict. haha...stopped using CM after tried Oxygen. but i cant wait what CM7 final has to offer.
