SONY NEX seems to gain my interests....now my next question is should I go for Nex 3 or Nex 5 since the diff is only on the 1080i video recording and the build quality. And also the type of lens I should go first?

I know with $ anything is possible but I'm trying to keep it as low as possible looking around below 2.5k

Btw any installment usually from SONY?

i'm also getting the nex.. but as all these expert are saying we should get the dual lens.. So we can get the most of the nex on purchase that is portability + nice zooming capability..

and sony does offer 0% installment.. for nex 5 with dual lens is about 2++ amonth for a year.. the max is 2 years...

Erm, I think Sony shop like Midvalley do offer installments. And shops like Creative Damansara can give you cheaper price cash, but installment wise, hard 2 say la lol.

On a sidenote, its better not to use installment to get your camera.

S95 and LX5 are nice cameras with both featuring the f/2.0 lens which is better in low light than other cameras in the markeT

Handshake or not, depends on the settings you're shooting at. If you know your stuff, then you'll surely know how to counter "blur" pictures. You'll know once you start learning about your tools when you get them smile.gif

Edit or not, is entirely up to you.

But la, editing pictures is a fundamental process, to producing much better image quality. The camera doesn't know what type of colours you would want, so it just captures the scene according to what it is assigned to do, so it's up to you the "artist" to paint the picture smile.gif

I bet you've seen a "before and after" for unedited ---------> edited brows.gif

Ohh damn after reading alot on Sony NEX it seems that Nex-3 is also not a bad choice and apart from being polycarbonate body, the price is affordable for dual lens too.

So now my concern on Nex-3 is that, how is the build quality for those heavy users out there?

if that is your consideration why don't you go for entry level dslr rather than buy prosummer level?
consider 550D, 500D, d3100 as well. good for learn.

I was thinking so too... But according to my friend(a pro photographer) the price difference between a 550D and 60D is only RM400.
And as I said earlier, I dun mind buying a good one rather than needing to switch later on.

But again, thanks for ur opinion. Appreciate it..

You can D7000 or 60D with it. If you feel more adventurous instead, You can get a FF from Sony if you top up abit summore LOL~
If not, might as well get better lens n flash to support your style of shooting rather than an expensive body.

Well, what I thought was get a solid body(60D) and then later on buy the flash and lenses....
I will still consider what you are saying though.
Thanks for ur opinion. Appreciate it nod.gif
