QUOTE(Justeafy @ Apr 7 2011, 12:45 PM) just curious, if its based on luck why do so many ppl buy razer? cuz i was considering buying a razer mouse but after seeing many ppl complain on this forum, feel reluctant... Some people are attracted to Razer's design and how they 'bling' up their products with nice packaging and catchy description while most brands don't often focus on their design. Take the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate for example, how often do you find a mechanical keyboard with keys that have a backlight?

QUOTE(Justeafy @ Apr 7 2011, 12:34 PM) razer products so bad ah? always malfunctioning... i also heard warranty a problem wit them? I got plenty of friends using Razer and so far none of them have successfully use one without any problem after 1 year including myself. Luck not on our side perhaps My razer tarantula is serving me well though so far coming to 2 years of age and my Orochi is doing good also only in wired mode. Why I say so is because recently I've tried using it on wireless mode and notice it has very annoying disconnection issue. Sometimes the mouse cursor just stop moving and after a few seconds only it will start moving as though Bluetooth connection is breaking. Don't even want to mention their warranty which I think they need to seriously improve at.

Also Razer has a really aggressive marketing strategy that makes users buy them up like no problem.

I believe most of the people buy Razer due to it's popularity. Ask any layman about Steelseries or Roccat, and they'll give you a blank look. What more if you ask Cyber Snipa, Qpad, Mionix, Filco etc. Even at my school library there is this PC mag with Razer stuff, and most of the time I see those juniors talking and staring at that page. Heck, I don't even see any magazine featuring SS or Roccat stuff before. Everdying, any update for Razer @ PC Fair?

Speed = FPS Control = RPG, MMO RTS etc. You as a FPS gamer should know, you need fast movement right? Fragged edition or non-Fragged edition, you decide yourself
