QUOTE(TechnoG @ Apr 7 2011, 08:40 PM) I believe most of the people buy Razer due to it's popularity. Ask any layman about Steelseries or Roccat, and they'll give you a blank look. What more if you ask Cyber Snipa, Qpad, Mionix, Filco etc. Hmm.. I buy razer because people say Death Adder very comfy back then.Even at my school library there is this PC mag with Razer stuff, and most of the time I see those juniors talking and staring at that page. Heck, I don't even see any magazine featuring SS or Roccat stuff before. Everdying, any update for Razer @ PC Fair? Then I also try try.. very nice woh.. very comfy Then after it gave me problem I buy another DA black edition I buy their mat because its somewhat cheaper than SS wan, I like razer hard mat QUOTE(d3smoond @ Apr 8 2011, 02:11 AM) you like blue switch or not ?if not then totally useless. wasted. |

QUOTE(d3smoond @ Apr 8 2011, 02:27 AM) Here's a good example of blue switches.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « It gives users a pleasant crispy click when it is pressed. There are several switches we can find out there, black, blue, clear, brown, red, etc. The one on Blackwidow is blue, Steel is using black while zowie is using brown. I had to choose Razer over other brands because of the blue LED backlit and black theme for the peripherals. For mouse I feel Mamba & Deathadder are quite comfortable. The tech specs offered by Razer is also top notch.
However Razer product are quite bad in quality. They should do much better since their products aren't cheap. The aesthetic look will deterioriate after a month of heavy usage. Not to mention 1 out of 5 Razer product I had, will have techncal problem out of the box or after certain length of period using it. For me in term of quality build and not overpriced gaming peripheral, Logitech is an ideal choice. Steelseries is also one of the favourites, but the price is expensive anyway. |

He doesn't know about mechanical keyboard switches, but the fact is BWU sucks anyway.
I've known many users have clashing keys problems & many more with this keyboard. As I said, Razer have very bad quality. My BWU got problem just right out of the box and I had to fix it myself. |

i have used quite a number of their products, including the alive and kicking boomslang. I'm also using the mako, mamba and BWU and so far no problem at all. perhaps i'm not a hardcore user but they all work fine till now.
i like my BWU and thinking of getting the dragon age 2 version and the existing one bring to office to use. by the way BWU is my first razer keyboard. previously using microsoft keyboards, from the first gen natural keyboard till the sidewinder X6. Logitech's branding/message to the end-users for their gaming peripherals doesn't convey much of an "ultimate gaming accessory" perception and I think this is where they lose out despite having decent performance and quality. LOL, okay, anyway why Razer haven't do any gaming gear for consoles? They have Onza, but that's it? It's just a controller... try make a mouse for consoles or something, I like Razer's mouse, some of the design worth a praise.

And if you wonder, most console gamers use controllers rather than mouse and keyboard. Anyway, about qc of razer, well.. By reading comments on razer thread, gaming mouse thread or any other thread that related to razer, seems like qc is bad. Or did any overseas users complaint razer defect problem? Like US , Korea , or China? I mean did any of you read about it? Maybe its just Malaysia users that have this problem ( product defect ). |
