to me the scarab surface, just like the control side of the eXactmat, but with a lot more "sandy-alike-texture" on the surface.
But the glide is still very smooth, smoother than the eXactmat speed side a lot.  biggrin.gif
also I like its size, being 350mm x 270mm mouse pad is very ideal for me to short-medium range swipe  biggrin.gif

I think the Scarab is quite bang for bucks compared to the Ironclad if you don't really need a large surface also. The Scarab also comes with a decent casing and it looks classy enough to be a companion for your high-end mouse. biggrin.gif

If it's really from a Razer booth then should be from Ban Leong, if so then you'll have to deal directly with Ban Leong for any warranty claims. If it's from a dealer (you'll know it from the receipt given), then claim the warranty from the dealer you bought from. smile.gif

Distributors can always decide if they would like to set up a booth and make an appearance at a certain event. Of course some factors they look at is their budget and if it'll be worth it or not. Perhaps they are planning something big?

Well, 2 weeks is also not too bad. I had customers who had problems with it within the first few days of purchase already, speak about bad luck. sweat.gif

the problem that happen to my naga epic is very weird...it can be turn on, but there's no light on the scroll wheel...the razer configurator can detect the mouse...the mouse cursor can be move...scroll wheel is function also...just that the left and right button is not function.... sad.gif

the mouse cant be charge using dock or wired...i try to update the firmware but it fail to do so....1st i though it was the batt malfunction...but i took out the battery and connect it to wired and the problem still the same...really dunno what to do now...guess my last hope is to send back for rma...really sad... cry.gif

Can't say that it's bad, just depends on luck. However, can't deny that the warranty claim rate is quite high compared to other gaming brands.

As for warranty problems, there isn't actually. It's just that if you're an end-user, all warranty claims must go through the dealer/seller you bought from, you can't bring it back to the distributor directly for warranty claims.
