Okay considering the flight is only few weeks from now. The earlier you buy the cheaper. Bus from JB to PG around RM60 if not mistaken.

hi...is there anyone able to advise me on this?
QUOTE(mrportable @ Dec 8 2010, 12:35 AM)
i was able to buy ticket on airasia for KL->Singapore but not able to buy tigerairway ticket for going back to Malaysia. so i wonder whats wrong here....they prefer i stay in singapore?

anyways, if i renew my passport on Feb when in Malaysia, am i able to use my new passport and non-updated spass to get into Singapore?
also, my HR only applied 1 year SPass for me (valid till July 2011), after i renew the passport on Feb, i still got like 6 months to SPass expiry date, is it appropriate to ask my HR to renew my SPass?

I had student pass before and PR re-entry permit now. When you change your passport in Malaysia, you can only use the new passport (the only valid passport) to enter SG. If the SG officer will scan your passport and your Spass as usual, the system will not find any of your record so they have to do process your entry manually. They will let you in and ask you to update your passport info soon.

Last time I will show the officer my pass, old passport and new passport together and they know what to do. Now, after I get the new passport I can transfer my re-entry permit to new passport online and print-out an official document for custom clearance. I can leave SG with old passport and come back with new passport and the print-out.

I can't find the link to transfer Spass to new passport on ICA website, maybein MoM website.

Hi all,

Am wondering how Deloitte Singapore is doing? Anyone care to shed some light?

Cos it seems like it's the only one in Big 4 hiring graduates now biggrin.gif
*
My housemate is working Deloitte, she said very stress... She prefers the one in JB. But I don't really know more details abt it, but I heard the salary for 1st grad is not bad brows.gif

Hardwarezone : Messy but high traffic. Not organized.
VR Zone: More organized, Lowyat standard, but a lot less volume.

Those are the two I know. More for IT and gadget stuff. I realize Sg seldom people sell sec hand stuff, even if they do its at a very slight discount only.

Lowyat.net FTW!

Local chinaman companies are like that everywhere, especially in Malaysia. Most of my friends only cukup makan with their salary. At least if you work here 1.5-1.6k can still save some money on top of your normal lifestyle. If you don't like their offer, don't take it. I'm sure they have their reasons for offering you such a pay. Maybe they only need certain quality of people for the price so will keep looking until they find it.

Middle of the night no transport and kena chop by Taxi leh...but got few places like Clarke Quay, 24 hour food courts, mcd for the night prowler. I rather sleep at night. Gone are the days of uni where it's common to go Mamak eat. Still can't find decent roti canai here. Nor Naan.

At least they have an active community to sell/purchase used games.

I goto gametrader.sg to get my used ps3 titles. So far so good and all are in good condition without any scratches.

Its not just malaysians, alot of singaporeans in the sub-con industry, especially engineering treat their workers sub-par standard.

One of my clients, NOV are looking for people. Since your in the O&G field, you can try them out at gul avenue. Their pay is competitve, their an MNC so no china man mentality and they have full clothes washing and shower facilities if you need it.
