Of course I won lah... His Waja 4G18 with slight mods lah.. As we all know Mitsu's 10 year old engine, with some tweaking definitely better than CamPro.. Manual samore.. Top speed I lose la.. Acceleration.. So proud to say that my auto can tapau manual Waja with mods..

i have driven waja before.. non-campro type... i think tat fella ..is the factor...waja has very good low range torque.. the car surges infront really fast...compare to persona. but at higher speed.... persona wins ....
always have the few moment lag..feel when i drive back persona after a few trip driving waja...will feel..."why so slow pickup"

Added on January 6, 2011, 9:10 ambut jackyap84.. i think before u send to that guy.. u better reconfirm his confidence in tuning for the 32bit ECU.....chteh0721 is driving SE...16bit.. I am guessing configuration could be different

just afraid... end up.... u feel not worth the money...

ya he told me 32bit not much can be tune compare to 16 bits

he only remap the ECU setting. not flash the default setting, If u reset ur ECU by removing the -ve terminal, i think all the setting will back to default. He also say need to drive aggresive for certain time to maintain the ecu remap.
Still dunno , i want to remap or not

i think i miss the info last time, which SC can update ECU firmware for free?

so means all use 16 bit ecu? including my last week PE?

all major proton service center can do the free upgrade. for klang valley you can go to desa tun razak , glenmarie shah alam and Kesas Proton COSE

Ya... in computer sense..... he only change the values in the RAM..... not the ROM...at least tat is what i understand....
well honestly i think is not worth rm80...even normal PESC can do it abit for you.. just tell them u keep feeling your car ..response very sluggish...they will help u do some tuning.... maybe not as good..

btw....i was told since i got my car.. there have been 3 versions ... mine as x.xx.14
after tat was x.xx.25
latest was x.xx.34 <--which i got upgrade this monday when i went for my 10k service...
that really .... is reflashing the ECU...haha they even use a typical EasyFlash programmer program to reflash the ECU (might sound familiar to those in the control or electronic field )

hi all, new PE H-line (bronze garnet) owner here. just got my car 2 weeks ago..

was following this thread, to keep up with latest happening in PE just sent my car for 1k service this week at CoSE. requested to reflash my ECU due to some weird low engine rattling sound when going at low rpm (stuck in jam), only during when aircond was on. Normal drive doesn't notice that sound.

but when check with the advisor that handles the service, he said my car ECU firmware is the latest, no need to reflash. So how do i verify this? any way to check what is my current ECU firmware version?

Rattling sound is it got some parts loose?
I dun think reflash ECU can't fix rattling sound.
