Time to change. 30sen premium for every litre of ron97 we pour does not justify the extra mileage/performance gain for our car.

sometimes filling with ron97 also for long distance
so far ok la but feel a bit slow pickup. and what a bad smell from my exhaust LOL..

Get new PE lor. Got 2 years warranty.
Used one sometimes very hard to say. Donno how the previous owner treat it.

i must say, PE is quite a good car for the money mang. Maybe need to do some roof/door sound proof. But overall i feel the power and acceleration is very usable in town. even highway is good.

Handling very comparable to my 1st gen perdana v6. In fact zippier.
Power wise. Of course, uhhh not as good as the v6. Lol but i am not complaning. Like i say, power is very usable.
Comfort. Well a lil bit noisy for PE and seat not as good as the V6. But heck more comfy than wira n all the p2 range. Hahahaha.
only complain, aircon is freezing cold in the morning and nite mang. Donno anyone can fix it or not. hahaha.

LOL No worries.. Well the main reason for all the test done by NanoTag was to determine whether their nanotag additives in different petrol with additives with different car compression would create any adverse effect on power and fuel consumption. They tested cars with 9:1, 9.5:1, 10:1, 10.5:1 and 11.3:1 compression.. So there was a bunch of dyno results and analysis and explanation by some German company as well as Petronas on the changes of data..
It was found out that with lower compression NA engines, the fuel needed to be lower octane and with as less additives as possible to prevent the fuel from stabilizing. So that when its combusted it reacts more violently and burns even faster. Thats why people do complaint that when they pump Ron92 into their cars, the engine sounds a bit harsher. Because almost everyone was using Ron97 at that time and fuel companies like Esso do not add any additives into their Ron92 petrol to cut cost.

The highest operating compression without knocking at standard temp (87.5celcius) for Ron92 is 10.5:1(benchtest), but in real world it definitely will be much lesser as engine load, environment condition and intake air temp plays a very huge part too. So from there i infer that for 10:1 compression, it would be better to use some fuel that combust faster instead to gain maximum torque as ron95 fuel will have a much higher compression tolerance than 10.5:1 even under engine load.

Good for you.. Peace of mind now. The wiper noise is it from the arm there? Cos when i went for my first service a guy driving PE also claimed for wiper arm replacement. He said the wiper was not smooth and when the wiper was turn on it moved like the screw was loose like that.

Oh well, don't be discouraged, perhaps you can ask the officer to explain to you in detail how the 3.65% for 9 years work, and if there is any T&C. Just keep in mind that Islamic loan is a little bit more tricky than conventional loan, need some time to understand how it works
Perhaps it would be better with CPS? Persona is marketed as a functional car instead of those sporty type, so can't expect much. It's good enough for me (compared to my old Wira 1.5)
