same here..pump shell 95...feel quite slow pick up....compare to my regular esso 95.... still thinks esso 95 still the best...

LOL No worries.. Well the main reason for all the test done by NanoTag was to determine whether their nanotag additives in different petrol with additives with different car compression would create any adverse effect on power and fuel consumption. They tested cars with 9:1, 9.5:1, 10:1, 10.5:1 and 11.3:1 compression.. So there was a bunch of dyno results and analysis and explanation by some German company as well as Petronas on the changes of data..
It was found out that with lower compression NA engines, the fuel needed to be lower octane and with as less additives as possible to prevent the fuel from stabilizing. So that when its combusted it reacts more violently and burns even faster. Thats why people do complaint that when they pump Ron92 into their cars, the engine sounds a bit harsher. Because almost everyone was using Ron97 at that time and fuel companies like Esso do not add any additives into their Ron92 petrol to cut cost.

The highest operating compression without knocking at standard temp (87.5celcius) for Ron92 is 10.5:1(benchtest), but in real world it definitely will be much lesser as engine load, environment condition and intake air temp plays a very huge part too. So from there i infer that for 10:1 compression, it would be better to use some fuel that combust faster instead to gain maximum torque as ron95 fuel will have a much higher compression tolerance than 10.5:1 even under engine load.

Good for you.. Peace of mind now. The wiper noise is it from the arm there? Cos when i went for my first service a guy driving PE also claimed for wiper arm replacement. He said the wiper was not smooth and when the wiper was turn on it moved like the screw was loose like that.

Does any1 have the Lokatoo gps which is running processor Atlas 3? i accidently deleted the Guider file, however the official website of Lokatoo software and maps for Atlas 3 unable to download, wtf??!! can any1 upload the file or provide me a link tht i can download it

Ya u can.. U just have to go to a dealer with a PDT handheld tuner.. They can change settings for you on the fly. .

LOL Paiseh.. Ya its SoCE, beside the Kesas highway one. They are using Petronas Semi (RM97) and Shell helix HX7 (RM99). Please do appointment with them earlier on if not it will take a long time to service ur car..

1) Steering wheel ok lah.. Lighter than Saga BLM IMO.. Definitely not as light as Vios..

2) Definitely not normal.. Nothing should be broken on the first day of getting the car, except for ur wallet. XD But since its getting replaced FOC then its ok lah..

3) No boot release also.. Have to retrofit it if u want..

4) 1st service RM114 for me. (Shell Helix HX7, drain plug and oil filter).

Serdang SC dun allow others lube. Which SC can use others?

um, i'm new here, and i just process my loan for persona facelift yesterday. i took b line cos m line is over my budget d. what color is nicer for persona? actually i opt for brilliant red just like saga se, with black rooftop. but since now none offered that color, so i'll respray after 2yrs old. so guys can you give opinion what color i should choose? i choose genetic silver at first cos quite nice. but i think of black cos if i respray to saga se color, the rooftop no need respray cos black color too, so will it save money?or workshop calculate based on how many type of color you use? and how's fuel consumption of persona? add airbag how much? can persona b line retrofit with abs + ebd?

Yes compared to Saga, PE offers better NVH and driving dynamics. Huge car also, go club one time can tapau a lot of chicks back, can also 3p in the rear seat.   I also have surveyed new and 2nd hand cars in the 50k range b4.. Criterias are it must not be too old. Reasonable comfort. Cheap spare parts and maintenance. Low FC (proton phail), good resale value, reasonable overall cost of ownership (car price, interest, FC, service cost, modding cost, design and size)
1) 2nd hand sentra N16 - nah, i ady have one sentra at home and sentra's interior looks dated.
2) 1st gen vios. Slightly more than 50k due to higher demand. My cousin bro have one and it has been giving lots of trouble 3yrs into his ownership and the car quality deteriorates too fast.
3) E36 BMW - Spare parts can kill you.
4) Myvi - There are more Myvi than rubbish on Msian roads and Myvi is due for a facelift next year. No boot, not really low FC, way to overpriced for its quality.
5) Wira 2nd hand - Looks nice but its too old lah...
6) Persona 1st gen - PE looks way better.

Thats all i can think about for now lah.. Still PE FTW,
