Yeah when high-rev for some period then i can smell some burning smell too.. But i dont think its brake pads lah.. Cos i didnt do any braking at that time the smell started coming in ady.. It smells like burnt plastic, but not that strong smell..

With this plugs u have lesser misfiring, better power especially at mid to high rev and the plug needs changing only around 80k-100k km compared to stock.. So if u average it out u save a lot of money.. And as u drive normal plugs tend to wear out, increasing misfire as the plug gap is wider, but for iridium u barely have that problem.

erm....try use any wax like kit, turtle wax, or soft 99...it will minimize the scratches...try soft 99 meta clean...its more aggressive in waxing/polishing......if cannot then send for touch up.. laugh.gif

first ... try to feel it.. is it very deep?
if it isnt... might just the the clearcoat.. damaged
u can try using wax.... but polish should be better
if both fails.... try using those .. scratch X for example.... to polish tat area... but be wear scratch X are kinda harmful to paint actually...

if u really have more cash.. send it to those profesional detailing center.. ask them to repair the scratch if they can... they should be able to tell u . they can do it or not...

everything fail.. just touchup with paint tongue.gif hehe

my experience of three years with manual non iafm campro.

The rev is the characteristics of the engine & it does frustrate me a few months of ownership.
But after you get used to it, you will know when to synchronise both of your foot & i can say now my gear change is smooth.
Automatically when i anticipate gear change, i release first the gas & then press the clutch.
And that technique you can also apply to other type of cars without any problems so i dont think its anything abnormal.

And i find it can be advantage while trying to chase someone with fast gear change.. laugh.gif

and the drive by wire delay also you will need to be familiarised with it. Once in a while i do get 'caught' by the delay.

hi, was just calling one of the SA and according to him, new persona will not have this kind of problem. he also said, car will become like that if the car has less gas in tank O_O"". now i am confused.

btw if i book now, ill get 2k rebate ++ freebies .... problem is, ill get 2010 made car instead of 2011(to be confirmed)

hi everyone, i just got my persona elegance b line auto last few days, so far overall quite satisfied, but got some minor problem need to clarify:

1. Got sound like screw loose from air cond hose, after turn off fan control knob, the sound will disappear. Have anyone experience this before?

2. felt like air cond under swing when operation, cool air blow out but after few second will off and blow out again after few second, this repeat and repeat. Scared might be control knob viaration problem but LED no off. Is it true?

Ur scratch looks quite deep.. If im not mistaken u can see the white basecoat.. Waxing or polishing wont help at all..
If ur on a budget, get a small bottle of touch-up paint and paint it then get a clearcoat like Optiseal to repair it.. If u dont know how to get a clearcoat, just maybe buy touch-up paint, touch it up then go to polishing shop and ask them to wax till it shine..

just rub in the circular motion on the scratches...try to apply pressure on the area....but i think its quite deep...better touch up the scratches using touch up paint or worst if you want the best is send for detailer to do it....but waxing it will minimize a little bit..la but not until completely clear off....

As i know maybe it's the battery problem...there is 2 common question about problem starting the car .

1st..try on the car.(on electronic parts)..all indicator at the meter is ok but cannot start..got sound but cannot start..(alternator problem)
2nd...try on the car (on electronic parts) but no indicator,no light n try to start also no sound....(Battery problem)

Correct me if i'm wrong... icon_rolleyes.gif
