U2311h is better.
it is IPS panel. where ST is TN LED backlight

i think the Dell U2311H is best within 600-650 price range

with 5 years premium panel warranty is definitely worthy

ya forget to say , 630 came with 5 year warranty from biologi

dell u2311h ordered 31-jan ; delivered 7-feb. impressive delivery speed. very nice monitor. excellent picture quality.

i have a problem with it though

when i play video fullscreen, top part of the screen got frame tearing issues

help please? i tried mpc-hc vsync. didnt work

Update: frame tearing is not limited to video. everything is effected, as if the top 1cm of the screen is not in sync with the rest of the screen

Update: ok. i dont know what happened. but there is no frame tearing when i plugged back into my own pc.Monitor works perfectly now. mystery remains unsolved.

i rate this monitor (Dell U2311H) a 9.5/10

however it does not have dvi port. only VGA analog port

Any ideas where to get this height adjustable stand for Dell Monitor (Model IN2020M)? Or any third party stands out there?

I called dell, and the customer care person mention that they do not sell it separately.

those stand comes from the Ultrasharp series IIRC. It comes with my U2410

Look for 3rd party desk mount such as Cento DMP LCD502. Forumer rsangel did sell it. The only drawback is you can't pivot, perhaps need few modifications.

Added on February 8, 2011, 4:47 pmiinm that's the Samsung 2333TN,it uses a type of VA panel so it should have better colours and viewing angles than most TN panel LCDs,the only downside i can find is that it only has a single VGA input port.

I read that DVI-I is better bcoz it can use analog & digital

Yes, DVI-Integrated can transfer digital and analogue signals.
Yes, acer 221hql using DVI-D
and
Yes, you can connect you monitor using HDMI to DVI cable from console. Only lack of audio to be transferred at the same time.


What I usually found is Dell Ultrasharp U2211H, 2207WFP and 2209WFP.
