QUOTE(Jet23sky @ Feb 10 2011, 12:01 PM) Guys... I have a LCD 24inches, 1920x1080 resolution... right now.... IPS didn't provide any 24inches. ( So far i checked there isn't, please enlighten me if there is. ). So i might plan to get the 23inches one, since it has the same resolution as my current LCD... But will the size be matter if I view it ? Cause one is 24 inches and another is 23inches... http://accessories.ap.dell.com/sna/product...=bsd&redirect=1 |

QUOTE(LExus65 @ Feb 10 2011, 03:10 PM) that what i did for 3 x u2311.... Really? I didn't know 23" is that cheap. I just received my 30" IPS Panel from HP for the price of 1 24" IPS, it's more worth it to better top-up and go for 27" It cost only RM4k something! That's sooooo dayum cheap. Now I have a HP LP3065, HP LP2475w, Dell U2410. Feels good mang. These monitors are really cheap |

^ It is very obvious if you pair it side by side with my new LP2475.
But yeah 30" still better than nothing |

^ Currently using a 30" (2560 x 1600)
It feels soooo good mang... I don't know why, All I use for the LCD is to put my 2nd wallpaper only. Like a picture frame, albeit is a large picture frame. |

Whoa the Dell 30" is so cheap now! Felt so tempted but I'm already using a HP. Ugh. The 27" is also RM2k-ish, around what I got for the U2410

^ Very true. That time when IPS panel was like Oh lala...
OLED is indeed the future. Can't wait for that future to come. When all monitors are thin like fucuk. |

Wut? Price drop again? /facepalm.
Dell is good in slashing price. On another note, HP is quitting PC industry. I hope they retain the business line! So that their IPS monitor I can still get |

Question to those who have U2412m, how is gaming performance, 8ms time matters or not?

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Aug 21 2011, 07:34 PM) Dell U2311H has 8ms and it's considered as good, but some hardcore FPS gaming might find it slightly blurry, otherwise it's good for casual to normal gaming. If you're serious gamer, you should look for 120Hz panel instead, such as the Alienware 3D monitor which capable of 120Hz if not using the 3D mode, should prove enough for fast pace gaming. Other than that, TV that has 100Hz or 120Hz panel is very good as well, but they're priced rather steep for some TV includes more features and using high-end IPS panel. Someone here should use a software to review the input lag and the panel responsiveness, should bring some light to those who haven bought it yet. Add: Google "PixPerAn". QUOTE(WSL999 @ Aug 21 2011, 07:46 PM) No this is not recommended for high-end graphic requirement. You gotta spend on Alienware Monitors or Samsung SA Series which cost RM1300 and above. QUOTE(BeastX @ Aug 21 2011, 08:16 PM) I believe he was asking for Gaming (fast FPS/racing and such) ... where speed is more essential than colour accuracy/depth/contrast/even shades... Actually I have a friend who want to buy u2412m cause I recommend that LCD to him, however, the 8ms response time is worrying him for ghosting issues. So that's why I ended up asking here good quality TN panels (and cheaper monitors) rather than U2412M So I guess I introduce other monitor to him then. Thanks all! |
