Just received the u2412m, plugged all the relevant cable's. ..turn on... screen blank, seems no power going in. Guess is defect.....sad

Double check everything again. Some times you might lost out some small thing or over look. Or when you get too excited will at time miss out too..:LD

Even by just plugging only the power and on, it can't even go to standby mode.press all buttons screen still blank, can't see menu option at all

There should not be any problems at all, the products are being tested repeatedly before sending out from the factory.

i have 2 monitor which has big difference in size.
i dont want to duplicate or extend it, just want 2 monitor to display 2 different thing.

Maybe it received the critical damage during transit. You should call up Dell. They might be able to expedite a replacement unit.

Try extending it. Some games can allow you to game on one monitor while the other one is playing a movie, guaranteed if the game is in windowed mode. I've done it.

Best to go through their SA, since can ask for discounts and all. If from website, nothing.

I see. got it. How long is dell's delivery? if i order today, do u think it will arrive before the 27th? going back to kmpg soon and im scared that the delivery will be too late. last time my m1530 took longer than its supposed to arrive so im kinda skeptical about dell's delivery times.

It shouldn't take that long,last time i bought my U2311H it only took 4 days.

Mine ordered on Saturday, Arrived on Wednesday. Its pretty quick, since its not like a laptop where you customize then they need time to process that. All U2412M are the same

If can then you call up the sales assistant and deal with them verbally since you have room for negotiation and depends how you nego with them. Can get better price wan..
