hmm, it's weird, i can't connect via hdmi no matter how many times i tried, maybe the problem is with my laptop?

have you check with the display control panel , hdmi is not primary display for laptop, if it detectable, it will be fine

may i know does it really better than the old 2311m? since it doesn't comes with hdmi as well

it's detectable after searching the monitor in the nvidia control panel, it even show the monitor successfully connected with hdmi connection but the monitor still display nothing

on a side note, this is an interesting forum topic on monitors I must say. My contributing blogger (Ed_86) wrote a few great reviews on AOC monitors too, and i personally use AOC myself, I think it's great stuff, take a look at the following reviews and decide for yourself

I'm not saying they're the best out there in comparison, I don't compare monitors one by one and by different brands, I'm just saying, if you're looking for a monitor, remember to add AOC monitors into your list of options, they're great value for money!
