I only found Dell U2410 with 24" IPS screen. Can we find something else selling in Malaysia similar to it ie. 24inch screen wtih IPS or PVA?

guys,

Any shortcomings if I'm using a Full HD LCD TV as the desktop monitor? ... yeah it's a 24" LCD TV. The spec is here:

Perhaps maybe the slower response time? That is resulting in ghosting when playing games hmm.gif

I'm thinking the same thing. LCD TV never mentioned response time. Need to get info/experience from others using a small LCD TV ~ 24 or 26 incher as PC Monitor. I've tried using my 40incher TV surfing the net... kinda bad experience due to its pixel size. If the TV is small size like 24inch but FullHD 1920x1080 pixel reslolution... should be ok right?

Too much thing to consider to use Full HD TV as monitor ie. the response rate and the color gamut as well. I might turn back my interest to use IPS monitor but it is a bit pricey. The Toshiba 24PS10 is priced at RM899.

24" e-IPS monitor with 16:10 screen ratio. I'm expecting it to be cheaper than the current 24" with H-IPS panel.

U2311H - 1920x1080, 6-bit H-IPS
U2412M - 1920x1200, 6-bit H-IPS
U2410 - 1920x1200, 8-bit e-IPS
U2711 - 2560x1440, 10-bit e-IPS
U3011 - 2560x1600, 10-bit e-IPS

From U2311 to U2412M difference is u hv larger res at the same quality.
from U2412M to U2410 u got better quality at the same res.

U got it wrong. The premium U2410, U2711, U3011 is using H-IPS while the cheaper U2311 and U2412 use e-IPS.
