for me, is Inspira... cheaper and valuable, dont keep care about the brand, is Page 86 now!

Inspira for me too!! at first glance i really like forte because the back look like bmw 5 series.. lol.. but i dreamed about lancer since 2007!! or furtherback since saga lancer rebadge..

KOREA is a fast improve car manufacturer? lol.. ask mr WIKI la.. 1944!! Kia almost bankrupt in 1998 and hyundai bought them!! damn.. even with internet people still lacking the knowledge.. lol..

further more, a cheap car from japan or korea.. expensive just because high taxes by the gov.. 20-30 k for forte and vios.. that money can be use to MOD my inspira to anything i like!! plus can do down payment for smaller size car.. lol..

Go for inspira 2.0 the specs are same as lancer model.
If 1.8 I don't think so can be more FC.

Korea car still lack on 2nd hand value with services cost too high already. Just the outlook made nicely and the car still same as Kia spectra. No value & drink fuel.

for me , i've voted for inspira. I'm a ex-waja owner for 6 years,currently driving a peugeot .
This is my personal opinion :
Inspira vs Forte
1-Exterior looks - macho/grand/mature/not original( lancer looks better with its shark nose) vs young/cute/korean style ( dun like the rear light cos its too big )
2-Interior dash - too simple / steering looks cheap with thundercat logo vs ugly steering design / busy dash and controls
3-cabin - safe and comfortable feeling vs feels like my old waja
4-handling - ok u know which is better right -lotus tuned inspira (multilink)>lotus tuned waja(multilink)>forte ( torsion beam )
5-engine - a lot of u say they are the same -but this 2 cars have diff setup - so i will not comment .Cos i believe we are not in F1 racing where 10th of a seconds counts. As long it suits ur needs and over ur nerves at top speed should be sufficient. No point arguing 0-100km/j in how many sec , i blink my eye is 1 sec , she blink in 0.5 sec ...u get what i mean?

6-fuel economy - i wont comment also cos this are variables - u tekan and i tekan the paddle is different. so no point.

I know after reading this many of u will start bashing me , question me this and that la but like i say this is just my humble opinion and btw its a voting thread right ? cheers

now im driving my 18 years old wira 1.6 with mitsubishi engine.. still love it so much with it's engine performance. so far hv 0 problem except power windows. haha. inspira with lancer's engine still cup of my tea

my hse got 4 protons, why protons? no choice, cheapest crap i can afford. spare parts are cheap.. i'm a diy person. so fixing is not an issue.

if i got money, i wont get proton. die die also wont. plastic as thick as 0.7cm can break (imagine the lock knob). aircond ducts all pecah, dashboard cluster break, aircon switch broke and went inside the dashboard, mileage meter stopped at 100k kms, fuel gauge dancing, rpm meter constantly show reading at 4k rpm, seatbelt plastic cover turned color, roof rust, noise here and there, water leaking from front windscreen A-pillar, power window jammed, central lock dancing up and down like car got hantu, door handle broke, sunvisor broke.. those plastic they use, become brittle after exposed to UV rays. Imagine thick looking plastic can break into smaller bits jz by pressing it between ur thumb and index finger. proton QC? i think they go smoke ciggs and no do work la..

everytime i got a proton, i have in good faith they will improve.. but no, already 4 protons and this kinda shit is still coming..

This is mitsu car rebadge only, almost all part from mitsu.

speaking of rebadge of lancer, may I know if wira was also a rebadge of lancer when it was first launched? Or borrowed technology from lancer but local made?

Wira(early badge) should have nothing to do with rebadge or lancer at all. The most is that it's engine is made/using Misthubisi design.

You mean wira is a local design instead of basing on lancer? I thought Waja is the first design done from Proton

yes proton inspira seem like got higher 2nd hand value than forte ..

no big deal, let them feel i am poorer...in fact, my wallet is 10x thicker than them...although i m not proton owner. i always against on this...i drive smallest car among my frens, but they knw well, i owned 3 house on hand...
