my main concern will be the resale value....if its going to be like spectra, go for inspira!

Lol Im sure it's a malfunction of parts or steering cos the car suddenly goes right to hit d divider.. Lol I ask u la if u driving 160++ will u play around wit ur steering? Turning left suddenly u go turn right?? Lol..

Come on, what's most important to buy a car?
Speed? (Malaysia has not much chance to let u drive about 180km)

Face? (Proton? Local. Forte? Oversea. Even though korea but still oversea! Wangi sikit)

Design? (I do not like copy lo, forte design are very good after fixing up the body kit)

Quality? (I really dunno proton got QC or not, new car come out also got minor prob such as light, aircond, reverse sensor and bla bla bla. Forte? Awarded. 5 star safe. At least better than our malaysia tin milo)

Acceleration? (If compare 2.0, forte wins. 1.6 cant compare 1.8)

At last, you drive forte on the road and you drive inspira on the road. I will look up on forte more lo. You drive inspira, i will look at you as proton class (saga ppl). If you drive forte, I will look at u like honda city ppl lo.

Just my idea only.

ever test drive both, below IMHO:
1. engine/pickup: forte 2.0 win (Inspira 2.0 CVT just can't feel much the initial pickup) - this is CVT, you cant feel it go faster, just take a look car beside u, which 1 first lor 
2. NVH : ABBA/LPPL
3. Handling : Inspira for sure
4. Interior : Inspira, but Forte win in features, Inspira have many hidden sensors even lancer gt dont have
5. Space: Forte(a little more space at the rear), but with BIG boot. Inspira one too small, can modified to big space lor,, just remove the sponge and used small spare tyre..and it become super big
6. Overall : engine--> forte (although they share similar gema block), handling-->Inspira

Engine  forte? hehehe? Mivec lost to Forte?  u need to educate urself first.. Mivec same par is Vtec.. forte is non!.. no forte can kejar me from behind from 1st day, and no forte can run from me..

BEST is : combine both advantages into 1 car  = Inspira 100%

yes proton inspira seem like got higher 2nd hand value than forte ..

but why so care about the value ?

what we need is comfort and features ....
forte beat inspira 10 times in term of features

Usually, driving proton in malaysia just let ur fren feel that u r poorer than those driving other branded cars XD
