Forte 1.6 SX
NEW = 81,000 2nd VALUE : 60-65K (1 YEAR)
Interest Rate = 2.8
- service cost = very expensive = sum for 6 years = RM2000 - RM3000 (sure or not? rm500 per year for 6 years?)
- 5 years warranty

depreciation ~ 15- 20% /year MAX
http://www.mudah.my/Naza+Forte-10530600.htm?last=1

64k?  still no one wanna buy it!

1 month advertisement.. still no buyer (refer comment's by Cybermaster above)

INSPIRA 1.8
NEW = 85,000 REBATE = 4000  RM81k (why got discount? tak laku kah? tongue.gif)
Interest Rate 2.8

- Free service A to Z until 60k km!! (save around RM2k) (what i know free for semi synthetic oil only, some manage to use fully synthetic but must topup, some cannot if use fully synthetic must pay full price for engine oil, how's that?)
- Warranty A to Z 5 years!

2nd VALUE dont know.. no one sell it !!!! if sell it.. for sure used car will buy it at higher price!...
if there is no one sell it, the 2nd value car will be sure high! (what a childish statement, if forte, i know you will say like this..

"forte - if sell it.. for sure used car won't buy it at higher price!...
forte - if there is no one sell it, the 2nd value car will be sure low and nobody want!")

you to decide!

honda and toyota have very good second value in malaysia.

forte lose another 5k value if compared to city on the same manufactured year. still not that bad probably.

but then some people buy car not because of the second hand value, some buy what they like, some buy what they can afford and some buy for future resell value?

Well to be fair to Forte owners, the lack of interest in buying a 1 yr old 2nd hand car could also be due to fear. Most of the ppl who sell their cars within the first 3 yrs do so because of accidents. That fear is increased especially if its being sold by 2nd hand car dealers instead of direct owners. We will have a better understanding of the Forte resale value once we've passed the 4 year mark since the launch when there are more 2nd hand units up for sale.

Yes the Jap's surely have better resale value. My 2003 Toyota Vios is still going for about RM 42K (original price was RM 74K+) despite being 8 years old.  thumbup.gif

depends...
some seller advertise low price is because they want to get rid of the car fast...

brand new mazda 3 MPS = RM 179 OTR
there is this 1 seller selling off his 1 month old Mazda 3 MPS at RM 145K OTR...

wink.gif
he got rid of the car within 1 month

hmmmmm.. 179 - 145 = 34K difference..

might be the forte owner should reduce 34K also to attract buyers.. 82K - 34K = 48K OTR

btw, dont u think the used car willing to pay at that price? of used car only willing to pay up to 50-60k only?
~ 60k price depreciation for only 1 year..

for inspira, they already untung kaw2 when they got the part from mitsu.. too many demands for this car will for sure make the car manufacturer reduce the price (rebate only for this raya celebration only lorr) .. btw bank also provide low interest rate.. 2.6 -3.0 ...

fuyoh.. very good buy lah the mps.. assuming the car is in mint condition.. if the car is sold thru dealer, im sure dealer already marked up.. so owner probably sold the car less than advertised..

bro, agree with about the actual 2nd hand value of Forte.
however, are you sure your Vios 2003 still worth 42k?it was motor trader list price or trade in price? hmm.gif

becoz i juz sold my vios E 2005 at 44k to used car dealer, the used car dealer was my father's fren thus can get higher a bit of price otherwise most of the other used car dealers just accept 40-42k only...

so i believe that your vios 2003 E spec would have lower price than my 2005 E spec blush.gif

motor trader or used car dealer selling price always not the actual 2nd value of the car.just like mine, the used car dealer had mark up to 51k of selling price, i think they will have discount 3-4k to buyer at the end of the day.

looks like Proton win vs Kia?
i heard new problem for kia..

- jerking during acceleration
- low power after rpm 4
- rattling dashboard sound (like old proton problem early 90s)
- high FC
- no much diff on 4speed with 6 speed new forte.

after used inspira (my personal opinion)
- bushing problem - can be solved . changed to improved parts
- lancer GT owner dont like me. =|
- need to spend more money to modified bodykit and hidden gadget and even lancer GT itself dont have. too many choices!...
- superb engine, can tapau most of car at highway.. till today no one tapau me yet.. ngeh3
