I'm now using the rc1. Same problem as the nightly, I can't seem to play Facebook video. It works fine on azure. Really weird.

no comprendo, So meaning if at M'sia just use market enabler for paid apps?
Yup, because with Market Enabler you can emulates foreign simcards which gives you access to paid apps.

According to HTC production for legend stopped due to lack of amoled displays from Samsung. The desire suffered the same fate. And that reason is why the Aria ever got released in the first place.

Wow. That makes our beloved legends limited editions. smile.gif

Yup. =P Actually it itself is limited in the first place cause many choose the desire over this one, considering that the price difference isn't much in the first place. O.o

Same here bro, Desire wasn't that desirable to me even with 1Ghz CPU.

HTC Legend is still producing actually, they just hit a little bump with the AMOLED issue. If they stop producing it then the Phantom Legend won't be out.

Hi

Anyone here facing prob with the phone jack? the jack connection is not stable whenever i connect the earpiece to the phone, it needs to be in certain height n direction for it to play smoothly.sad.gif

Does the home button cover in warranty? The button is loose since the day i've used the phone and it's quite irritating sometime as the button will sink in certain level. Btw, the phone is only one month old from digi. =(

did u try using another earpiece? could it be the earpiece's jack problem? as for the home button, it is covered under warranty. but good luck convincing them that the button is defective. if it's really obvious that the button has already sank, then they will probably change the entire phone casing+buttons for you (or at least that's what they told me).

i told them it's sinking, and they admit it is...
they even fixed for me...
cz i saw the button got the plastic on top of it when i collect...
when i got it back home the button sink again... mad.gif
i was like.. wt*...
it's like never fixed before...
and they ripped off my new screen protector...
at least they changed my whole motherboard which cause microsd to be defective...

well, my experience of dissecting the legend tells me that no matter how many times they change the casing and buttons, the buttons will eventually sink.

this is because beneath each button is a strip of soft rubber pad, which will make contact with the button switch below. this soft rubber will eventually get compressed, which results in the button sinking. the 'pad' below my "back" button is almost half of the height of other buttons' pad.

Have you ever missed your HTC keyboard after installing a custom ROM, or using stock SenseUI but want more customization options on the keyboard, presenting the HTC_IME keyboard!

Mod features (taken from developer site):

Customizable language settings, Smileys hacked into the hide key (see screen shots), Swap Smiley/12# button, Custom smileys, Custom word candidate bar that raises the keyboards so dictionary won't cover the app you type in, Position of word candidate list is saved if you long press and move it, Left align word candidate list, Prediction in fields with own suggestions (search bar etc.), Prediction in fields that sets the filter flag, Prediction in URL fields, Disable automatic capitalization, Play sounds in silent mode, Set sound level, Custom sounds, Automatic space insertion, Enable prediction with cursor in or adjacent to existing words (QWERTY only), Enable a space bar key in URL keyboard, Support for German QWERTZ hard KB layout, Show voice input button for all keyboards with a settings button, Disable key preview popup, Use Google development server for voice (supports German but isn't online 24/7), MANY HTC bugs fixed, the changelog for a few of them, Droid SE X10 landscape support, User dictionary import/export, User dictionary accepts any character, not just HTC approved ones, Custom vibration length, Character replacement (can remove diacritic chars), Pipe key in qwerty mode, Move cursor with volume keys (for Sony Ericsson Xperia X10), Easier access to language specific chars in qwerty popups, Configurable gesture (swipe) actions, Gesture actions: Delete word, delete sentence, shift, hide kb, cursor after word, voice input, switch language, switch keyboard, Use phone keypad / compact qwerty symbol kb for QWERTY, Toggle accept dict. suggestion by space / period / comma, Fast language and keyboard switching by gestures, Version tracking by aTrackDog, Custom domains for .com key

All hacks are configurable in the settings dialog.

It's easy to install

1) Download and extract the file below on you phone (QRcode included for convenience):
HTC_IME V27 lowres 1.6+

2) If you are NOT using senseUI, install 'clicker.apk'. For those using stock ROM or custom ROM based on sense, you should skip this step.

3) Install 'HTC_IME_lo.apk'

4) From your home screen, go to settings>language & keyboard aand check the box for 'HTC_IME mod' to activate the keyboard

5) Long-click on any text field and select 'input method', then select HTC_IME mod

6) Enjoy the new keyboard!

Credit goes to Jonasl from XDA for developing this great mod.

So old liao ler.. HTC IME mod also stop development liao

BTW, if I'm not mistaken, you need to install 1.5 which is without voice recognition to avoid HTC IME mod from crashing.

Hey danixal, if you (or the rest) don't mind, can you please compile all the useful information on your first post, i.e. rooting guide, custom ROMs, theming, etc.
