i third that!! lol! if we really want froyo sometimes we have to take matters into our own hands, find the info you need flash it on your own, plenty of people here ready to guide you but if complain about SGS of cos it will backfire, the froyo delay is well known in this forum but its my first time using samsung but counting the pros and cons, i still like the phone because of the hardware specs, as for froyo, i took matters into my own hands and flash one that is official in other countries (actually im half way through for those who were following me last night, i managed to flash to JM8 will try flash JPD later when i get back home) or one can also hack kies registry and flash.

so basically, the decision is with us, whether we want to sit down and complain or we take action to get what we want.

Agree on it, if you think the phone sucks big time, sell it off and buy other phone. No point complain here
Screw official froyo please, flash by your own = WIN

By the way, already on Doc froyo tongue.gif

By all accounts, official Froyo is not gonna fix your complaints of the lag. It still uses RFS. Vote with your wallet. Get rid of the phone.

by all accounts, there are more ways to deal with that lag, such as a lagfix, so dont be a whiner and spend your time complaining for 3 4 months while you can just flash a lagfix in 5 minit or less.

Flashed Doc. Love it. From what I can tell, he's not interested in flashing custom firmwares so he should just get rid of it.

Hey guys, I started using this phone 2 days ago and im wondering why my prepaid credit have been disappearing mysteriously, i didn't use the internet but it reduced for a few ringgit each day.

I'm wondering whether there's anything running in the background that uses internet data and thus costing me quite some bucks..if there is how to disable it? I'm clueless when it comes to smartphones..thanks in advance

If you can see 3G on your notifiaction bar, that means u r connected to internet and some apps run on the backgroud and sucking up ur prepaid.. press power button for 2 seconds and u can see an option to disable the internet data in 'Data Network Mode'

the easiest way, delete access point name, sure no more data will be use, even after rebooting
