Hey guys, how to check/know if the internal sd card is spoilt?

1. On the Android phone, press on HOME > MENU button and then tap Settings.
2. Tap on Wireless & networks or Wireless controls.
3. Tap on Mobile networks or Mobile network settings.
4. Tap on Access Point Names.
5. On the APNs screen, press MENU button and then tap New APN.
6. In the Edit access point screen, enter the APN settings by tapping on the APN setting item to edit it.

Set the Name to a random fake name, such as Off.
Set the APN to a random fake value, such as blank.
Other items can be left blank.
7. Press MENU button and then tap Save to save the settings to phone.
8. A new APN will be shown. Press the circle to the right of the new APN to select it as the active APN.


I followed the above steps and done now..hopefully it doesnt suck up my credit anymore..anyway what effect will it have if i disable APN? Can still access wifi and internet?

AFAIK, if you disable the 3G APN (be it from Maxis or DiGi), you cant use 3g but still can use WiFi.

guys, I accidentally went into Download mode. how to reboot phone from there?? Coz I juz unplug my battery, dunno hw to reboot

just unplug battery should be fine but why did you end up in download mode anyway, no one accidentaly presses 3 buttons at one time

Why all the trouble? Just go to android market n download one of the apn on-off app. Wth tht u can turn the data on or off by a toggle switch.:-)

Go settings -> Locale and text(5th option from bottom, incase you don't know it in chinese) -> Select locale.

1. my gallery doesnt zoom properly, it zooms in the picture, but it does not refresh the picture where it should be sharper...

2. how to make the phone vibrate when receiving text message.

Added on November 17, 2010, 11:10 pmdepends, if you are currently on froyo, you need to change the recovery which need root explorer which need root

if you are on eclair, just need to put that update.zip into memory and use the recovery

some lagfix you can flash using odin. which require no root
