Using *ahem* version?

Your installation of Papago X5 is not complete. There are quite a number of folders/sub folders which define the screen resolution. See if you have them.

DL from market. Don't have *ahem* version ler... if someone PM me the link... then... tongue.gif

I was on stock firmware DXJG4, then phone stuck on forced close because of TouchWizGTG from XDA... so decide to reflash... but can't get throught it. Chose re-partition with 512, got stuck on "do not turn off target". Without re-partition got stuck on "Get PIT for mapping"

Same case with mine yesterday night...what a tragedy night...
Anyway i managed to flashed it with the help from sifu here~  thumbup.gif

1st, ur source of DXJG4 might corrupted...kindly get it from the link given on 1st page.
2nd, pit 513 recommended to flash DXJG4 with re-partition.

You guys r right! with the download mode in GS...it seems difficult to brick the phone XD
*
Managed to flash with 512pit, this is the result I got after completed flash
E:Error in /cache/recovery/sec_csc.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.

Then the phone booted on Galaxy S black & white screen, won't play animation...

Should I use download the firmware again and use pit 513?

It definitely got different, otherwise, it wont call 512 and 513, but what the different, i do not know.

According to Samfirmware, recommended to use 512. So far samfirmware pretty reliable. I think most Eclair use 512.

Downloaded again DXJG4 from page 1... still facing same problem...

Guys... would like to ask something about Doc Froyo...

I would like to use update.zip to launch ClockWorkMod to install Doc Froyo..
Will this method make any changes to my recovery(2e)?
Can I use this method from DZJP2 firmware?

you flash with all the pda,csc and modem files? i'm not sure will this cause this problem or not.
if you using the version that download form 1st page, all you need is only the code file will do(something like CODE_I9000DXJG4.tar).
i only flash with CODE_I9000DXJG4.tar
Hope this help...
*
Yes, I flashed with 3 files together... I did it last time by flashing 3 files together... but this is another board, maybe different...

Ok.. if u use the update.zip, from recovery 2e, it will change ur recovery 2e to CWM, shd u wanna revert to the stock 2e, there is option from the CWM.

Subsequently, u just have to follow the instruction to install the particular fw that u want
Wait... u can't even get into ur phone, how are u going to copy the update.zip file into ur sdcard?
*
I flashed to DZJP2, froyo 2.2 then I copy the files to my /sdcard already... Too bad the recovery already changed to 3e... now trying to flash back to eclair again...

Have to apply twice.

like this

Off phone, boot into recovery2e

Apply update.zip

then phone will reboot

choose apply update.zip again

then it will become CWM

Install Doc Froyo... Please pray for me.....

10minutes later...

The latest update of LaucherPro is sucking battery big time. Ver 0.8.1.1
I check & monitor and found that it is using CPU power alot..

It was fine previously, only using 2% of full charge before now.

Now, I find that it is using 15% of my full charge
*
Check CPU usage with Android System Info app, found out 2 processes of Launcher pro is running 100%... but Total CPU usage was not 100%, only 20-30%...

i'm using 8.1.1 as well.
Doc's 7.6.1 rom, batter drain fast, fully charge 100%, after less than 1 hour, drop to 96% 95%
*
Same here... Doc froyo with speedmod kernel. Battery life has no different compare with stock DXJG4... I thought froyo will consume less battery compare with eclair? sweat.gif
