If your cable is in good condition, Most likely u no need to change.
But if u r using Astro's earliest badge of LNB, then u have to change
(Not many people have that type of LNBs ...Installing an astro cost abt. RM1,000+ back then hah..   )

my decoder still not resopding to my remote. got red colour at below the off button but the decoder doesnt respond if i press any button. now currently stuck at main menu =.-

There are people who will only goes for big sceen and surround sound.  Then there are people will only watch pirated DVD.  Now there are people who can watch on Astro First, are young couples with babies and can't goes to cinema and don't want to watch pirated DVD.

This is ridiculous. I have not been given a B.yond box but in the bill I received today, they are charging me RM20 extra. So Astro is now into vapor-ware business?

My concern is.. with this AStroFirst they will be the easier way to make pirated movie after 2 week it release to cinema.
Not like previous day..they waited after the original copy.

For me the Astrofirst is good coz I can watch movie at home without go to cinema since I still got baby if plan to go with whole family.

Formula One Management makes it official: 2011 season will be the first in HD

After many years of waiting we'll finally get to experience Formula 1 racing the way we should, in high definition. Sky Deutschland and the BBC have already confirmed they will carry the new HD feed, and formula One Management has confirmed it will be available to all host broadcasters and will include all track sessions in 42 Mb/s MPEG-2 form. The widescreen PAL feed we've been watching has been good enough to fool a few into believing what they saw on Speed HD and others was true HD, but we can't wait to see the difference when the season kicks off.

hope astro will air it in 3d even i did not have the 3d hdtv!..hehe..........but this is a very gooooood news!      

ok,but do you think the astro box is faulty?
the installer told me that since previously using s cable,the box might jsut be faulty if using a new one or change to HD.

complaint by phone and email, send it to wecare@astro.com.my (actually we don't care)

astro already called me this morning and installer coming this Saturday.
so i will post my findings on monday.
