It will still have a blank picture & sound in that interval. Doesn't matter how many times I watch it again.
I will confirm on software version tonight.

On the channel guide, press the 'green button' for sorting.  Sports, Movie, HD,......The preset channels will be listed down.

I do agree pressing the Ch. no. is more straight forward.

That's what fav is for. By pressing the green button you can get your fav channels easily. Also the HD channels eg HBO

shocking.gif Oh, I guess this problem happen over time doesn't matter how much space left. Since you've 100 hours free, it might indicate you're not recording much program. Could you try to format your HDD? (under Installation setting menu) But all recording will be gone though. I can't do that now cry.gif
But it could temporarily solve the problem.

btw, this is my software version

Hi, anyone can suggest where is the best place to subscribe astro in penang? astro sc or through dealer?

Do I need to wait for 10 working days for the installation?

Any hint on what is the cost of installation?

Appreciate if someone could clear my doubt.

Thank you.

This is Malaysia always  grant monopoly to one provider ! as I hv said Astro will rule Malaysia, watch closely first bowling now ML next ? RTM can b... b... and  concentrate on how to potray Malaysia to the international world and make them believe as though such things exsists here ! doh.gif No provider shld be given exclusive rights the FTA TV stations must carry  whatever games through sponsorship for the poor,ASTRO shld be stripped off from these rights. nod.gif

Actually, no one can really blame Astro for getting the rights for Malaysian Super League football. They had the highest bid, they had the best package that FAM were looking for and ultimately they have the resources..

Picture this, Astro have the resources and potential to show at least 8 Malaysian Football matches a week..From the top league which is the Super League right until the lower leagues and even youth competitions..they also offered to provide a highlights programme with repeats available for viewers..

compare that to what RTM was offering..at least one match in a week..even that one match could be canceled if RTM decide to show any event launching like Bulan Citrawarna or Rumah Terbuka Aidilfitri..and I remember RTM had their highlights programme at 12.30 AM in the morning..how do you promote local football to kids if you put it at a time slot more suitable for romance or horror movies or thriller..they just did not have the resources..

To prevent a monopoly here, its FAM that should prevent it..not astro..they should have divided how many matches could be shown on RTM and Astro..in the end, money talks, and astro's money will go a long way to atleast keep Malaysian football alive and running..

anyways..no need to fear..RTM still have rights for the Malaysian Super League as they hold the rights for FTA broadcaster..Astro getting the rights should be used as a wake up call to RTM to improve their broadcast and presentation of local football which I can say they have taken granted for a long time as they were no competitors..

The best person to answer you would be an Astro Customer Service Officer. whistling.gif Why would you need a hint when they can give you the full info.

My personal take on teh system migration.

Any huge system migration will take at least 6 months to be fully stable. IINM, Astro's system migration covers Customer's info, billing, provisioning and even their equipments. Migration this huge would at least need 6 moths before everything can be BAU.

I worked in several banks before and two of teh banks goes thru huge system migration. It wasn't pretty either. And I remember this one customer who had his statemet indicated 2.3+ mill in and out of the account 7 times in one month.

He made such a big brouhaha till the bank had to compensate him as IRB chased after him when they got wind of the money.

So to answer if the system is fully stable, I don't think so it has fully stabilised. This is the time all the small but annoying issue will crop-up.

Migration NOT completed... Even if completed as claimed from some sources, Astro still needs ONE week to activate any upgrade to B'yond!!
I know cos B'yond Dept guy who called me back after my enquiry abt an upgrade, said so!! No way to activate within 24 hrs as opined by 1 of their Cust Serv guys!! sad.gif

1 whole week w/o services?? Will Astro provide any rebates? No mention either... sad.gif

This is always HUGE problem with monopoly!! Where got 1 Malaysia - Rakyat Didahulukan?? Sorry la...

ps. In my housing area, only got 1 hse with B'yond!! Why? Yu kno, rite? Haha!
