Used to 1000D + 18-55 IS kitlens the weight is just nice. Now using 500D + 18-200 IS kitlens + BG + 2 batteries the weight is killing if carried for a long time. Will a good neck strap helps?

I think the quick strap is made in china and i'm ragu-ragu about the quality. If it breaks, few K gone. Not worth taking the chance.

My friend offered to sell me an old Canon speedlite 540EZ for RM550. Never heard of this model in this tread. It is a very old model introduced in 1994 and stop production in 1998. Is this antique worth buying ?

Then the 540EZ not worth that much. If in need of a flash DI622 is the best choice on budget. I seldom take low light pictures, so undecided whether to get a ext flash or 50mm f1.8 lens.

I think the question is not about intensity. An inbuilt flash shoot directly on the subject, the face will be white like pontianak. An external flash can be positioned to bounce the light from walls or ceiling so the light will not be harsh on the subject and looks more natural.
