VNC sound so complicated. Why can't they be a Teamviewer app for Maemo platform. argh. so convinient.

vnc is a simple app. as simple as it gets.

you install the vnc server app on computer, start as service if possible.

set up with password.

note the IP of the computer.

install vnc client on the phone.

put in the computer's IP into the client app on the phone

voila.

The same goes with KTS Klang. I asked the sales assistant just now.

to remote your phone from your computer just reverse the process.

recently and accidentally upgraded with maemo44.....i saw the penguin that some are having problems booting. i activated a command called *facepalm* but after 10 sec......i got the progress dots and the n900 asked for my codes.....voila! successful boot!

Please, please, please...

the next 5 - 10 years are going to be scary in robotic humanoid / android development.

Sigh. I'm gonna get me a girl-on-girl connector and test my 'split- wire-to-external-usb-battery-pack' theory for OTG and external hard disk.

Also, my old buffalo Ministation (the one before the current version) has an external dc in jack. Theoretically, if should work if I jack a usb power pack to that - if I can find the dc jack usb cable lah.

I do think our best bet is the second option, but 2.5 hard disks with dc-in jacks just ain't popular any more. Which is a shame really, as the old Ministation is superior to the new one in many ways IMHO.

^I wish all the stinking phone manufacturers will stop making all the different microUSB/charger port.
I heard this will happen in US near future because of FCC regulation.But idea on Asian market.

N8 cable for usb device. Can't use at N900. Same CA-101 + female2female adaptor can't work at N8 but can use for sync + charging batt.
