QUOTE(ubi1kelubi @ Sep 5 2017, 08:38 AM) Ok found it. Turns out that my KS7000 display unit already clock in about 260,000 minute. If it on display at the shop for 12 hours a day, it had been on display for about 1 year. Different from what seller claim for 3-4 months only . Lets see how it will fair in long run. My previous sony tv display unit also, served me well for 7 years. Hope this one can make it I also wonder how was mine? Pls tell me how to check this. Thanks!

Hope this one can make it Well technically LCD has a theoretical lifespan between 60k to 100k hours (3.6 mil to 6 mil minutes) So basically they dented in worse case scenario 7.2% of the LCD lifespan LOL. Of course that's just all theory. Usually before your 10 year is up, tech upgraded too much that make you change TV if it didn't spoil beforehand due to other issue (common flat panel death is usually not panel burnt but other component failure such as power supply, switch or backlight)

If they sold to you recently, no way it's just 3-4months unless the shop just newly opened lol. Shops don't always change their display TV until there's new model coming out.

It's been more than a month since Update 1201 is live in various places and UK.
No blerdy sign of it in Asia until now.
One thing I hate about Samsung is their inability to get the shits together for updates.
The rollout is always screwed up, even with their flagship phones (I remember those days wait for months before Android 7 is out on S7Edge MY)

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to purchase UA55MU6100 model, and Lazada seems to have the cheapest option for now.
Is there other recommended place for me to get it? Perhaps somewhere that can give longer warranty at decent price?
Thanks!

Then the RM5k seller in 11street (brand new) sold until out of stock and not re-stocking anymore.

Samsung model names are confusing. For Malaysia, MU8000 seems to to equivalent to MU8500, both curved version. MU8000 in Europe and US is flat screen instead of curved.
Refresh rate for MU7000 in US only 60. Not sure if the Malaysia MU7000 is the same.
