QUOTE(NickShark @ Dec 29 2016, 08:59 AM) Been using 55ks7000 for a week now, honestly not quite satisfied with it,it seems cloudy and the white color more to milk white rather than pure white...i'm compare it side by side with my 2011 series 6 ,46 inch samsung...anyone with this model can clarify this or is it my tv problem, very appreciate if someone with this model can comment about this.[attachmentid=8324183] Not sure, but i believe you can re-calibrate the TV settings. Google for some Youtube videos about it |

QUOTE(Vervain @ Jan 13 2017, 12:22 AM) just bought a 50KU6000 from Harvey Norman but yet unbox after a few days. Feeling sad after I got to know that Gem5 offers 1k lower than HVY NRM... kill myself to know the bitter truth. The only two thing I see merit from Gem 5 is higher price paid and 5 years warranty.. ARRGGHHh got extended warranty memang more expensive la brojust enjoy your TV |

QUOTE(avantasia @ Feb 7 2017, 03:30 AM) Hai there, I also survey KS7000/7500 models for quite some time, but seems like >60 inch, price increases quite exponentially. For comparisoni'm using UA55C8000 right now but the TV starts to appear horizontal lines. i'm did some research and aiming for UA65KS9000 or UA65KS7500...but the price tag make me think twice. And seriously i'm looking at 65inch only and my budget around 7k or less. The nearest offer is for UA65KU6500 7k=-. 55" KS7000 - RM5k-5.6k 55" KS7500 - RM5.8-6.3k 60" KS7000 (very rare) - RM8-8.7k 65" KS7500 - RM11k KS9000 is only slightly better than KS7000, don't really justify the premium.. Anyway, should have more TV promotion coming soon to clear inventory. Apr/May new 2017 model should start to ship This post has been edited by tohff7: Feb 7 2017, 12:02 PM |

QUOTE(Darth Vaper @ Feb 11 2017, 12:55 PM) Anyone using 6400 55"? Just bought one & the PQ for Astro is not satisfactory. Is it Astro's source or the cable coz watching Netflix in 4K is absolutely gorgeous. Depends on the source. Sometimes some Astro programs are in 720p instead of 1080p.Also, try calibrate ur TV to get better PQ. |

QUOTE(rx330 @ Feb 20 2017, 10:59 AM) i click 4k sources on netflix, but how am i sure that netflix is streaming on 4k, and not downscaling it to 1080p? sometimes it's not due to the line speed. A lot of other factors such as WiFi congestion, not-so-good TM stock router etc..any indication where i could check on it? more is better, pls spend another rm 40 im stuck with my 30mbps for now, have to wait till april for them to up to 50mbps and then see how it goes from there wife keep complaining the line is slow |

QUOTE(lamusiqa @ Mar 9 2017, 04:13 PM) Thanks for the tip, my man. *brofist* 60" is as rare as 49". Most likely because Samsung Malaysia is not bringing in any units any more..Looks like a good price. Anybody knows whats the lowest price they've seen for a 60 inch KS7000? For RM7.5K, might as well sacrifice 5 inch and get the LG B6 55 inch in 11street. I also feel 60" will be the ideal size for my living room, but really can't find 1 at good price EDIT I just saw this deal from Desa Home Theater FB. LG 55B6 at RM7499 + Free Soundbar This post has been edited by tohff7: Mar 9 2017, 04:48 PM |

QUOTE(lamusiqa @ Mar 10 2017, 11:55 AM) IF ONLY the B6 is 60'' instead of 55''. Man, RM7.5K for 60'' OLED 4K w/ Dolby Vision support and free soundbar would be a damn good deal. u wait long long la. i notice usually quite a price jump from 55" to 60"anyway. Samsung Malaysia is officially launching the QLED models on 14th March. |

I dropped by Best Denki In KLCC just now.
Seems like the free soundbar (SH7) is promo from LG. So expect to see more similar promo by other dealers |

RTings just came out with the review of Q7 model. Probably wait for an updated test bcoz apparently their unit is out of spec. Not a good sign. 1 thing i don't like is u need 2 power outlet - 1 for TV and 1 for connect box Anyway, don't looks like it will justifiable for the pricetag. Looks like i'll go with KS7000 or B6. I'm kinda undecided going for Samsung KS7000 or LG B6 + SH7 soundbar deal. First world problem...
KS7000 - i love the OneConnect box coz of my TV cabinet configuration. Power outlet is between the 1st and 2nd shelf. So i only need to place the OneConnect box there and all of my wires can be organised there LG B6 + SH7 soundbar - OLED pic quality + free soundbar really sweeten the deal. Only thing is I need to have more cables running upwards behind the TV panel (not big issue) and open a smaller hole above the 1st shelf for cables + 2 power cord for soundbar and subwoofer. EDIT Pls don't mind my old 32" TV lol. Plan to mount my new TV ![]() This post has been edited by tohff7: Mar 11 2017, 04:04 PM |

QUOTE(sigheart @ Mar 12 2017, 12:52 AM) Well, if it helps, I had a similar dilemma a few months back but it was between the 65" KS9000 and the 65" C6 OLED and I chose the KS9000. Thx for your comment!! Too bad it's rare to find a 60KS7000 in MalaysiaTrue you get unrivaled and stunning PQ with an OLED but the PQ of the KS series from Samsung is no slouch either. In my case I managed to audition both the C6 and the KS9000 as some of my mates own both TVs and although the PQ from the C6 is indeed better in most scenes + darker scenes, it isn't by much, at least from what I can see. The KS9000 trumps the C6 in brighter scenes and the colors look much more vibrant and has more of a pop to it in HDR (tested with some UHD 4K Blurays). Either way both are great TVs, as are the ones you are currently considering and to be honest you will hardly go wrong with either one. And yes the one connect box is lovely for cable management. But the Magic remote that come with the LGs is much better for navigation and to use overall than the Smart remote that comes with the Samsung IMO. If you must ask what exactly put me off the C6 it was mainly the niggling issues that might plague an OLED like motion blur, image retention, high input lag etc. Take note I mentioned "might" as not everyone has these issues. But I've seen and experienced some of these issues myself with a couple of my mates owning OLED sets with these issues. And worst part is since some of these issues aren't really considered "issues" with an OLED, their warranty claims were rejected by LG and they have no choice but to live with it. I don't want to spend so much on a TV and then spend about half the time being paranoid about whether the Supersport or ESPN logo will one day be a permanent feature on the screen. Don't get me wrong I am not trying to say the Samsungs or any other LCD/LEDs in general are without faults or issues but they represent a "safer" option being the more mature tech when it comes to TVs and I decided to play it "safe". |
