get a regular wrist rest from 3M, or Filco leather if you can afford.
keyboard go with 6Gv2, no need 7G,
7G's wrist rest is already fix, you cant move it, is fixed in a position.
and it is just a plastic.
*
I can I will get the filco leather rest also.

But if say without the leather rest then I will choose 7G. Even though the port is just 1.0 usb, but without any problem I use it for mouse and some time small file transfer to my phone. (useful also)
True the rest is just plastic not worth that much of money, but if no other option I will still get it.
I using the audio jack also, my case is if always plug and unplug the head set to my cpu which i put under my table is troublesome.

Concluded if the filco rest and 6Gv2 is available i will choose them, otherwise i prefer 7G

after reading about the wrist rest mostly i'll skip 7g especially since my mobo support usb 3.0...
one thing i like is the backspace and enter of the 6Gv2...
currently looking at filco for some better idea about their products =p

@skincladalien

The shipping promotion is only valid for this month only if i'm not mistaken. Now is the time to get these types of keyboards if you want a good bargain.

Also seems WhiteRice from Geekhack forum is doing a MO from that website to bulk buy the Ducky leather palm rests. I'm not exactly sure how much cheaper you can get bulking with him, but it's worth checking out.

true it is tempting but I will more prefer if it is MX red.

Added on November 23, 2010, 5:48 pmJust found some answer for my own previous question.

For cherry MX black, actuation force is 60g, the reset point force is about 50, means oscillate between 60g and 50g then will keep on registering the keystroke continuously.

Even imba for MX red, the actuation force is 45g, the reset point at about 40g only.

figuring the price should be same or higher than Singapore Filco distributor, since the intake ammount is lesser so their cost is higher(i doubt this) So setting price would be higher. And profit for oneself, the price will be higher right? plus shipping?

well, that is just a wild guess, still needs storm to announce the price to clarify.

topre switch are kinda hybrid between membrane and mechanical switch, btw, the switch should either abit similiar to blue but a completely different feel in clicking it. btw, compare to the hybrid technology, the cost for one keyboard is kinda overprice. just look at those HHKB keyboards, i can only look afar and only pray the price would drop one day.

i still think the bw ultimate looks better compared to the xarmor, and do take not i'm no razertard.
maybe because xarmor's spacebar spoilt it for me.
what the hell is it with the dot at the centre of the space bar. /facepalm.
