Are you ready?
AMD HD 6990 Sneak Peek http://www.hardocp.com/article/2011/02/26/...es_sneek_peek/1 QUOTE While we cannot reveal the specifications or framerate numbers to you today, we will say this, we are happy with what AMD has provided. The specifications are everything HardOCP had hoped for. We think gamers will be pleased with the hardware. This video card is better out-of-the-gate than the Radeon HD 5970 ever was. I know the pages going too long already but will update it later on. |

Based on the price tag of the HD6990, I assume it'll be using two(2) Cayman XT?
imo, 2899 bucks is just too expensive. 2.2k-2.4k seems more reasonable.. |

I believe thats not supposed to be the final price
Should be just slightly more or less than 5970 price tag. |

its not worth it guys definately its not even 2x6950s even if it is its downclocked those who want to buy a single 6990 just get 2x 6950s at rm 900x2 and unlock to 6970 and cf
those who want to cf 6990 just get 3x6950 and unlock it because cf 6990 has 4 gpus and no games use 4 gpus except metro 2033 for nvidia and fps is lower than 3 cards when u use 4 cards same goes with gtx 590 tri sli gtx 570 is better than sli gtx 590 if gtx 560 could do tri sli then it would havee been more awesome |
