hmm, this is just the estimation, but taking into currency exchange and shipping cost. probably it will cost RM700+ when it reached our shore and then drops to ~RM650.
AMD already mentioned they want accomodate for some naming conventions used on their fusion products, so it will be saturated with many models coming next year, thats why they moving 57XX to 68XX
*
oo so it is related with Fusion product eih?

Maybe inside AMD Fusion APU featured if HD 6700 series? whistling.gif

Hey guys, I would like to ask ,
If I buy cheap HD6870 Like Rm749 vs Asus HD6870 Rm849,
what different ar ?

Because I see Asus wan stock clock is like 915Mhz , and the cheap one is 900Mhz... and the cheap are able to OC to 1000 easily ?

While I see Asus can. Im not familiar with AMD Radeon cards sweat.gif
*
First, since now not released yet non-reference card,so i dont see any difference in performance between Asus vs non-Asus.
The differences most probably is :

Packaging
Warranty
Bundles(maybe got games,pad..etc)
Cooler(hardly cos all still using ref cooler)
Clock Speed/Overclocked

About the overclocking capability, its vary because of the BIOS used. Some ppl like to use MSI BIOS,Asus BIOS..depends.

Because the GC TDP is related with how much power is required for the system

The software is still new.So i guess it takes time for AMD to support it or for the Softwaare to recognize it.

I think everyone knows it right?

AMD Graphics is all about price/performance brows.gif

Im not suprised if the HD 6970 might not be able to compete GTX580 but that where price/performance come smile.gif

QUOTE(zerorating @ Dec 14 2010, 12:39 PM)
there also some rumor that current hd6970 have disabled shader, maybe the new arc are too advance,so got yeild issue, just hope they will price as hd5850/5870
*
The price may be about HD 5850/HD5870 on launch.I couldnt remember much..

Hold on..ok got it..this is just speculation and not real i think :

NVIDIA's & ATI's Latest Pricing as of end of this week
GTX 460 768MB = £105 - £115
5830 1024MB = £115-£130 **EOL** ***Practically 5850 performance - BARGAIN***
6850 1024MB = £130-£140
GTX 460 1024MB = £140-£160
5850 1024MB = £130-£150 **EOL** ***Stock None Existent***
6870 1024MB = £170-£190
5870 1024MB = £180-£200 **EOL** ***Nothing sub £200 beats this***
GTX 470 1280MB = £190-£220 **EOL**
6950 2048MB = £220-£230 ***Expect £10 price increase in January***
GTX 480 1536MB = £250-£270 **EOL**
GTX 570 1280MB = £250-£290
6970 2048MB = £285 - £320 ***Expect £20 price increase in January***
GTX 580 1536MB = £350-£450 **Supply & Demand will keep this high**
6990 4096MB = £450-£500

I think they disabled shader(rumored as u said) to save the TDP perhaps?Because it is quite high already.

Looks like i will be skipping 40nm and wait for 28nm instead then.

Well if the HD 6970 is priced well then it could survive in market.

For now its HD 6950 best buck..

Using the ATI 10.12 Beta RC2
I'm not sure whether the differences between the Beta and official is much...  hmm.gif

When i see the graph,it seems that AMD shines at higher resolution thanks to 2GB perhaps?

No one knows but is there any reviewer that uses Officia 10.12 Driver?

Im sure there will in the future.

Just look around for other 6970 reviews, 2 X 6850 will beat 580, maybe by 10% and more.

The Crossfire Scaling is really good..

But some people said microstutter occurs right?

Just wonder only. Why? an old War3 doesn't deserve a standard to check fps?
and u misread my question. Sigh. leave it.
*
You can check FPS.If your computer quite high end, your warcraft is running at 200FPS.

As per to regedit, the max FPS for War3 is stated there.(200)
