launcher pro is not working for me in all latest froyo, since JPH and all, it goes back to touch wiz everytime i boot

Me on JPM + Voodoo 5, 3 days now.. opening 3-4 apps simultaneously, Internet, market, facebook, angry birds - very minimal lag noticed.

no force close so far.

The most significant thing i notice, compared to ZSJP2, the battery life, seem last longer

damn, jz nw sms halfway when tryin to send my phone hanged!! Wanna adjust screen brightness usin power control but to no avail, it doesnt response!! LOL.. nid to restart.

ahaha, never happen to me yet in this phone, but in past phone that kinda happen at least 2 3 times in its lifetimes.

the worst part is.. I'm tryin to compare the sceen wif iPhone 4 durin Maxis promotion jz nw..

I got that too when first flashed Froyo, JP6 to be exact. Very laggy, I was using TW and lots of folders. Everytime after closing an app I get black screen then blank home screens.
After re-flashing again and getting rid of Voodoo, weird it's super fast now but quadrant test scored 970 only.

There's a saying that Shits happen when you're trying to demo stuff to other ppl

Especially those winmo pda phone

owh..im on jpm too but using tayutama's rom + voodoo 5..the quadrant is about 1005 only. dunno its good or not..sometime got lag here and there around 5-8sec..

Something wrong, normally after applied lagfix the score surely will be around 15xx or more

ya lorr...maybe because of the rom i think..and the voodoo5 also are not that stable..need to try oclf after this..

im using Tayutama jpm also. i got a crappy network. always jump from 3g/hsdpa to edge and vice versa..and it happen frequent.
do you face this prob? im using Digi by the way.

just switch from bb. when using bb, got full bar coverage of 3g in my area.

I have been using Tw launcher n Launcher pro plus. Today itchy finger go n download ADW launcher.

Adw launcher not bad. Many themes to download, even got iphone 4 n ipad themes.

Anyone using adw launcher? Any nice themes to recommend?

hi, anyone can explain (in layman term) what exactly is '2e recovery'? always found someone answered something like 'you can flash the rom PROVIDED you have 2e recovery enabled.." what is it actually?

you know that we can go to "recovery mode" by pressing three buttons simultaneously, right? (power, volume UP, home)
recovery 3e is the latest one included in leaked froyo.
3e does not support flashing update.zip which is unsigned. u need to downgrade to 2e.
u need 2e if u want to use custom rom. custom rom is great cause you don't need computer to flash all those files.
you just enter clockwork mod recovery (it needs 2e) and then flash the custom rom in .zip extension.
its as easy as that.
i'm using darky's jpm with steel theme. really fast rom, TBH.

Till nw still using JG4.. Sayang also want to change to other.. Also my SGS never give prob yet.. :-D

but froyo is really cool!
1)new UI.
2)can easily edit text (magnifier) >> really saves my time and my sanity.
3)play flash video in browser (facebook)

maybe there's more.. hhmm
but there's a few bugs here and there.

yup.. i know that.. I really interested with froyo.. but still waiting a little time to let me fully understand to flash mine to froyo..
also want to wait a little till my sayang to JG4 go away.. hehe..
