Seems like you're using recovery(3e), are you on stock Froyo?

Flash back to any elcair then only can have recovery2e

No need so troublesome, just download the file called CF-Root-JPx-vX.X.tar from here, flash it by using ODIN, you will get back recovery 2e. BTW the file i choose was CF-Root-JP6-v1.2-Busybox-1.17.1.zip., so far no problem whatever rom/kernal i flashed.

Galaxy S audio is fantastic. Today is tried Sennheiser HD558, Grado SR225i, ATH M50, Beyerdynamic DT440, Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 250 ohm, Shure SRH840 Reference.

SGS is capable driving 250 ohm headphone to moderately high volume at max volume.

Headphones. I would have thought that SGS couldn't produce decent volume with Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 250 ohm version. It managed to squeeze out last bit of juice at max volume @ 15, yet sound good.

i've flash to JPO too..so far it's good but planning to do a hard reset as i prefer to start off clean.
By doing hard reset, everything is still intact right??

choose install zip from sd card in CWM

But there is some strange thing in my contacts, the alphabet (on the right most where we can slide across contact) are not displaying correctly. its shown E.g , A, '.', C, D, '.', F, G... etc..

any solution to fix this?

Use SystemApp Remover to remove adw launcher.

install the same way as the rom, from CWM

Doc's rom? if yes then factory reset will clear the launcherPro and also Gallery.

The way to do is, factory reset, then boot into recovery then apply the rom like how you did it in the first place.

For duplicate photo i think you need to delete some folders inside your sd card, search doc's forum for answer.

To uninstall ADW, go /system/app/ find some files related to ADW, can't remember the name, then just rename it.

OR install launcherPro, go market download Home Switcher, choose LauncherPro as default.

Besides, I am using ADW.launcher now, does any1 know how I can use samsung widget? I quite like samsung task manager widget..or any1 care to intro me a good task manger widget ?
