Last time i have htc diamond that cost 2400. It lags. It has bugs. But i was happy because before that i was using dopod 838 pro which cost 3000 which is almost unusable.

SGS is so far the cheapest phone that i had being very satisfying.

Things would be different if you have seen from different perspective. Those people complaining in XDA about lag must have never used a PDA or they have only seen iphone. Daily restart and pushing reset button on the back of he phone was a norm. For SGS i don't even know if there is one hard reset button or not

thats true, i bought the samsung omnia 2, man,..it lags, its unresponsive, daily restart is a normal.bought it over 2k..first release.
i was still happy. it was my first samsung pda and i think the first AMOLED screen. i thought the screeen was gorgeous. eventho lags
and unresponsive. compared to my mates iphone. of course its slow but at least its amoled screen and it looks great. and i still have it here
nod.gif no regrets.

I'm amazed at how well xda devs do their jobs for free. Flashed to Project Core v1 and current Linpack MFLOPS = 9.874 Quadrant = 2470

No. Unless you think you will be installing plenty of apps from unknown sources (especially cracked apps)

Sometimes we don't even know whether the anti-virus is real or hoax. It could be the first virus in your phone. tongue.gif
