Batu caves is border with KL.
damansara damai is ..border to ..hmmm..need to check map biggrin.gif
been there a few times, but outside peak time.

Interesting design. Are all units duplex? Trying to search for more info about this condo but cannot find. Looking for details like how many units per block (8 and 12?), how many floors (20?), maintenance fees /mth etc

All units duplex here.
Maintenance fees should be low, maybe 0.20 psf still coz density on the high side.

Anyway, main issue here is the strata title. As long as it is still under master title, the longer it's not resolved, value will depreciate as will have fewer and fewer banks willing to give out loan/refinance/etc.

Is there really only one exit to get out to the highway? Was looking this as potential place to stay if want to enrol my children in Sri Bestari school? Is it easy going to the school from here? Or is there any other better alternatives that is much nearer to the highway exit as I see this is kinda way deep far inside?

Yeah no access towards Sri Damansara.
Better choice to stay further up front towards the only source of entrance/exit road like The Zizz or One Damansara.
Or better still, stay at Sri Damansara straight.

I can recommend you Zizz, I have 3 units there, you have an alternative exit road (Jln PJU 10/9) towards highway exit and the U turn to go towards Kepong.

the only cons is that it's not really walkable to MRT as of yet (there's no pedestrian bridge over the Jln PJU 10/1)

Most of the units just VP within the last 12 months

Other options should be Damansara Foresta (ulu location , 15-20 min walk through ulu road to get to shops) and Azelia behind Ativo plaza (good location but it's next to the clubhouse which has been taken back for redevelopment), just giving you some options to consider. If you don't mind the jam from Kepong to NKVE (which will clear up after MRT construction) you can buy landed in Menjalara (freehold) or Bkt Maluri (leasehold). Really depends on your children's timeline too.

Actually I heard some talk about making Jalan PJU 10/1 one way only, they want to cut the bottleneck at the school traffic light by removing the traffic light.

But dunno whether will implement or not.

Right now you avoid going to that part of town during peak hours.

Foresta if you don't mind being very far from everyone else , and of course it's located on a steep hill ... honestly looks very intimidating

I hope you take a good look at One Damansara and the surroundings before jumping in .

The Zizz got big size unit too 1228sqft.
One Damansara corner unit also big size 1450sqft.
4 rooms and yes can get at below 600k.

At Bandar Sri Damansara not sure. Maybe Damansara Foresta the only big size choices there or landed houses there. Both options i guess wont get at below 600k.

Yup, the reviews and comment for One Damansara is ok but the advantage have many shops around though looks worn out ... no hurry to decide, will definitely pay a visit to both place

You can try to look at the Town houses further up called Sutera Damansara by OSK iirc. prolly around 600-750k. But same problem going out "jalan mati sebatang"

Those townhouse name The Vale.
However, i doubt able to get at 600k or even 750k unless is lelong unit.
