I'm planning to call up tomorrow morning to ask about my order status.. I called them a few days ago and they told me it was still in pre-production stage. i ordered the RM3,499 one and only added the backlit keyboard thing..

Well, imo 15.6" is kinda big to lug around... but since my laptop camps on my table, its kinda okay.

I had to wait for about a week before my status finally moved away from pre-production. I had to call up and email them before that and they finally told me the reason for the delay was parts shortage.

my XPS cpu i5 max temp is 51-52 C while gpu is also almost the same max temp is about 50-54 C ...

all the way copying and gaming...isit ok?

i think the temp is quite ok....but better to put a cooler pad to cool it down a bit when gaming.....mine just changed to shipping from factory... rclxms.gif

haha...congrats..... i 4gt ur specs ad la...urs is i5 or i7 one? rclxub.gif

i gt an unbranded cooler pad...and i will be using it.. thumbup.gif if gt budget i'd go for cooler master laugh.gif
btw the webcam is skype HD certified, but i think the resolution is quite blur sometime which is quite confusing. rclxub.gif

dilemma on buying either a new USB keyboard or new gaming controller eg XBOX 360 or "chapalang" one... tongue.gif

i just got off the phone with dell and they told me that my laptop is STILL in pre-production stage (it has been 6 working days already since i ordered the laptop), though he did say that my laptop would most likely be done and arrive by next friday o_o

which payment is the fastest one? credit card, bank transfer, cheque.. but i think cheque will take longest time to process.. right?

ya cheque need few days to clear out......i used bank transfer....just in one day my payment is cleared....credit card and fund transfer is the fastest biggrin.gif

50-54C max temp for GPU while gaming, are you kidding me? That's impossible unless you live in space. The GPU "gaming max temp" should be at least from 70-100C, lower of course because you're using i5. Similarly gaming temps for i5 would not be at the 50+ area. That's usually the idle temp.

errr... sry to make it confuse....it is idle...aft gaming temp...during gaming temp i haven try to alt+tab game to c it... will check it later aft work doh.gif
