oh yeah! so my assumptions is cos of da backlit keyboard make our XPS delay was correct then   
js lk the same reason in foreign country.....

im also going for 720p screen even though thy said the 720p WLED TL screen suck ...1080p B+RG is gettin high ratings by reviewers.....

havin da same though v u...gonna go for external moniotr....  

hmmm...but i guess the backlit keyboard is quite worth and useful for me cos im a nightwalker who owes surf and gaming till late nite....     so i guess worth the wait....

24/10/2010 (ORDER) ---> 11/11/10 (INITIAL PROMISE TO DELIVER) --->  15/11/10 (REVISION 1) ---> 25/11/10 (REVISION 2) ---> 29/11/10 (NOW - REVISION 3)

Today receive another crappy email telling me shortage of part thus the new date.
This is extremely unethical, no parts and put up for sale. Promised a date but fine prints in contract state dates are flexible.

I wrote back asking for immediate cancellation.
Life could have been easier dealing with other brands which don't overpromise.

Score for harddisk date transfer rate can be improved, if upgrade it to SSD, or maybe Seagate Momentus XT.

Well, why not you go and buy the laptop from retail store? You get what see straight. For customer service, Dell might not be the best, but their service is good to some extent, but not every time.
A42JA i7 is an alternative with comparable spec to dell XPS 15. RM3599 i7-740QM 1.73 GHz, 6M Cache 14.0” ATI 5730 2GB DDR3 4GB DDR3 640 GB 2.20KG W.7 HP. 2 years warranty by default.
If wanna save money,
Aspire 4820TG-5462G64MN, RM2699 I5-460M 2.53GHz 3MB L3 14.0" ATI 5650 1GB DDR3 2 GB DDR 3 640 GB 2.18KG W.7 HP. Just spend another few hundreds to upgrade the RAM.

The spec and the price was rather attractive. However, cant Dell design a better laptop instead of current weird XPS design. I felt it looked bulky and not elegant
