i wonder if any of the new 1.6 FL EX owners (with 16" sport oem rims) want to upgrade to 17" oem rims and need a partner to swap?

some might ask why dont i just buy a lighter 17" rims?

because i feel its too early to buy a new rims.my rims is still in good condition.on the other hand..lightness of the rims is not my concern.i can still live with the current fc and pick up..i want comfort since the place where i live has very bad road..using 17" rims is really a heartache..

and why dont i buy a new 16" rims instead of swapping with others?

because, by buying a new rims with different size, i have to buy new tyres too..i want to avoid that, since as i said my tyre is still ok..plus, if i buy new 16" rims, my spare wheel will remain 17" which is not very practical.

having said that..im wondering if any of the FL EX owners are thinking to upsizing their rims and swapping (including the spare).that way we wont have to buy a new set of tyres and, we also can have spare tyre with same size.

let me know.thanks

Hello all. I'm a new Black Forte 1.6SX owner and my car is due for its first service (drove it around 1.6k already because had to balik kampung a week after getting it).

Can anyone suggest me which SC to go? I'm thinking of the Kota Damansara one.

And is there anything I should know/do before going to the SC? It's my first time taking a car to a SC so I'm quite nervouse (and blur) as of what will happen, what should I take note of etc etc

Feedbacks are really appreciated and thanks in advance!  rclxms.gif

yes its the article as well. But everybody was blaming the throttle system on the car as the major cause when it was merely the floor mat or a sticky pedal. Nothing mechanical as well.

awesome news! just the mat or pedal! victim family will be glad to hear that!!

i like to find previous mod post about what will be done on anybody post about non forte stuff in this topic, but sadly i can't find it. anyway u already made your point, can we just stay on forte topic?

hi i wanna ask, is the gear shifter for the new forte is the same as the one found in Golf tsi, can have both stick downshift and also paddle as well?

also, this review from oneshift does not show any LCD display for rear view camera. Where do we look at the display?

or is it like this?

if it is something like this, i m damm... impressed. rather than tan chongs teana showing which direction you are heading

As ZeneticX says - yep it is on the rear view mirror itself, exactly as in the picture. It may obstruct the view a bit, but i think you'll get used to it. For your first question - yes, the new forte FL has both the stick upshift/downshift levers and the paddle shifters as well. But i just spoke to a friend who is driving honda city with paddle shifters and he told me that he doesn't really use the feature, its there when you feel like using it, but still its an extra feature nonetheless. Good to have more rather than less i suppose smile.gif
