hi i wanna ask, is the gear shifter for the new forte is the same as the one found in Golf tsi, can have both stick downshift and also paddle as well? also, this review from oneshift does not show any LCD display for rear view camera. Where do we look at the display? or is it like this? if it is something like this, i m damm... impressed. rather than tan chongs teana showing which direction you are heading

the last time i remembered forte 1.6 4 speed was really sucky. after going through with peugeot 308THP and 407, those feeling were amazing, i guess going southwards in testing car is really not fair i shall say. the expectation were too high.
so now have to have a fair comparison, Forte VS inspira, which is kind of hard to find 2.0P in show rooms.
i believe the avante would be more than 100k presumably it arrives in our shores.
Added on February 10, 2011, 10:42 pmalso i wanna ask again, how many airbags are there in the 1.6SX and the 2.0L ? is it still 2 and 6, or now all 2 only.

comapring to 308 and 407 after test driving them. Of course your brain will tell you forte sucks. As they are different in class. Of course a mc pherson can never be as nice as a double wishbone.
anyway will try forte again, probably this time round directly test drive a forte. Well at least clearly here Naza is not making you pay extra 4 to 5 K for nothing, Unlike T and H which you really pay for nothing.

had a go with the Forte FL just now, very nice. Tried the EX version, just wanna feel the 6 speed and gear change. Now seems like the car is much lighter. The rear camera is very nice, but unfortunately the lines red, yellow and green cannot move. I think Kia forgot to include the wire to the steering. If that one has a park assist. it is really really cool,
Other things are about the same. Just wondering now if it is worth the buy.
Also i wanna ask Forte Owners.
1.6L what is a full tank millage 2.0L what is the full tank millage.
My waja can get about 650KM for a 54L of petrol
can the old 4 speed forte beat the specs.?
Added on February 12, 2011, 3:36 pmAlso i would like to ask. The Gema Engine used here is it still single valve timing?
Or is it dual? .

this numbers are referring to 1.6L i presume. how about 2.0L ? should be less?
then my nissan sentra is about 400km for 31L for a 1.8 engine.

QUOTE(hahere @ Feb 15 2011, 07:09 PM) 2.0 is worth for money and performance.. where can you get 2.0 car with less than 100k? take it or leave it can the inspira is one of it. but forte is packed with more goodies.
