MyForteClub Charity Drive – Reward back to the society

Our very own MyForte Club Charity Drive initiated by fellow Fortezen was kicked off with a blast! Plans were in place to collect donations through any possible forms and to donate to approve orphanages home. We were targeting a minimum of 3 orphanages’ home comprises of various Malaysian races in the spirit of 1Malaysia.

This charity drive was kicked off at last year early September and we have came thru a long way and we had successfully raised RM1,100 thru the sales of the Forte
Cap. On 28th January, we have decided to channel our 1st fund that we had raised to The Spastic children´s Association of Selangor & Federal Territory, SCASFT. In the future charity drive we may select more home that need.

had a go with the Forte FL just now, very nice. Tried the EX version, just wanna feel the 6 speed and gear change. Now seems like the car is much lighter. The rear camera is very nice, but unfortunately the lines red, yellow and green cannot move. I think Kia forgot to include the wire to the steering. If that one has a park assist. it is really really cool,

Other things are about the same. Just wondering now if it is worth the buy.

Also i wanna ask Forte Owners.

1.6L what is a full tank millage
2.0L what is the full tank millage.

My waja can get about 650KM for a 54L of petrol

can the old 4 speed forte beat the specs.?

Added on February 12, 2011, 3:36 pmAlso i would like to ask. The Gema Engine used here is it still single valve timing?

Or is it dual? .

Waja full tank is 55L-60L....that's y it can go up so high..
Forte max at 50L...mine can clock at 550km for full city drive using RON97, while 480km for RON95

Gema engine and theta using dual valve timing...as standard....
but new optima and sportage, same goes with sonata, came with D-CVVT, equal to toyota's Dual VVT-i

this numbers are referring to 1.6L i presume. how about 2.0L ? should be less?

then my nissan sentra is about 400km for 31L for a 1.8 engine.

dude.. what is your expectation?
your mileage is for 100% city or 100% highway drive or mixed?

my best record for stock condition forte 4 speed is
100% highway maintain at 110KM/H is 643KM with estimated 70KM distance to empty remaining (for 44L - full tank reading after next full tank refueling)
