For those looking to choose Sony Alphas...

In comparing between a55/a55/a560/a580

Just wanting to know pros and cons of these 4 latest models from Sony

1. Why do you choose a33/a55 over a560/a580 ?
EVF
10fps (for a55)
swivel screen
continuous autofocus in video
smaller size hence lighter

2. Why do you choose a560/a580 over a33/a55 ?
longer battery life
OVF (for those who dislike EVF)
slightly better IQ at high ISO (just a tiny lil bit observed through pixel peeping) since a certain amount of light is lost using the translucent mirror
bigger size hence better grip for bigger hand
add-on battery grip is available

Very informative haha, just the answers i'm expecting! Looking to get one of the 4 in the future myself.

One more to ask: since the a33/a55 are significantly smaller in size, are most Sony lenses and 3rd party lenses out there fit with them?

save money then upgrade to better bodies with batt grip

lol..then why are still considering a batt grip for a380?
might as well save up for the next few years (no more unnecessary purchases) then upgrade body

Cuz everyone says a lousy body with good lens is better than pro body with lousy lens.. which is what i agree with.. so.. wanna use this body, money for lenses.

Also, don't forget that Malaysians tend to follow friends without doing research, hence we have very imbalanced distribution of brands compared to other countries. Step into any second-hand shop in Singapore and you will see a lot more variety.

battery life of 4 of them... I'm told that a33/a55 shoot about 300-400 images ? Is that considered low? What about a560/a580's battery life?
