Veron83: i'll go straight to the point. u get what u pays.... u cant really expect CZ quality from a rm1k lens. and so on... so even u get super range 18-200(or 250/270)... and u are paying less then 2k (vs a CZ well over 2k), the quality seriously still cant compete with a CZ.

lesson: u get what u paid.

got myself the A580.

anyway, want to ask.

under Manual Mode, when i trying to shoot indoor photos, when i pop up the flash, why everytime the flash will have multiple flash ( tot only for low light or night mode)

is it possible to set it into one flash.

coz when i trying to shoot a object, keep flashing on it. around 4 times flashing.

Not sure if it has been discussed before but when I looked through the finder of SLT, the image is not as "real" as the normal DSLR. Or is it because the indoor light condition at Sony booth?

evan, can share what make you chose the a580 over a55?

i love the size n battery life. hate the tilted lcd.
on the other hand for a55 , lke the smaller size as well, af for video, the swiveling lcd. but hate the battery life.

so evf and ovf doesnt really matter to me. but the evf is very nice addition. to change settings without having to take your eyes off the finder is great. to see the effect on iso, wb is awesome as well.. its just that they gonna consume lotsa juice than ever. but to have a conventional one is not bad either.. and of course i would like the one on the a900 if i could.. drool.gif

Nope..it is attached to the body. If a55 batt is an issue, get secondary batt as backup. Around 200 only.

thx for the prompt reply!

well, battery issue can be solved just like ur advise, get a 2nd battery..

only that i feel that my pinky finger will get really tired as i often use it to support partial of camera's weight...
i got an idea of making a 'dummy grip' for better ergonomic. if the battery door is detachable, that helps to secure the 'dummy grip'..

(just an idea tho...) icon_rolleyes.gif

8tvt: no, i meant if the battery door can be detached. smile.gif

Juz came back from KLPF.. Couldn't find any Crumpler camera strap. Bagman shoulder pad going for Rm10 only! I took 3 of them. Regret.. Should take 20. =P I put the shoulder pad on my camera strap haha. Got to try the Sony BIG lenses, I only remember the 70-300G lens.. whoa.. Weighed like 4kg ( + body). Cool place! =D
