for daily use 3.6ghz also enough la... tongue.gif

higher clock may need higher volt = higher temp

dafreak..
want to ask about the SS u posted on MSI 1m challenge..
why u unlock ur proc, then lock back 2cores?

is it will give u a better clock or what if unlock?

since when im with sempron , unlock will give a significant boost in ram oc..

Just tried 1705mhz on my eco, need so much voltage just for 50mhz increment, previously was 1.55, now 1.65 shakehead.gif
not the optimal setting sweat.gif

both version are broken one lol,
just make sure you set the "thread count" to 6 if you are using 6 core cpu,
1.55 version cant even detect my system properly, default thread count only 1. shakehead.gif

I know tat d default thread is set at 1. so need to set it at 6.
I thought wprime is good to do short stressing. hope they fix it d 2.04version. really save my time compare to prime95. laugh.gif

wPrime and IBT dont really "hit the nerves" on AMD cpu, as someone said on xsforum.
even if you can pass the IBT and wprime 1024m stress test doesnt mean your pc is fully stable.
prime95 blend and ycruncher continuously stresst test is the way to go imho.

no.. i mean..why u unlock to x4B55 and lock back x2 b55
why just dont disable the core unlocker.. make it 555. u get what i mean?

i think 4 on defualt..no?
wprime is not stress tool.. is benchmarking..for stress tool, longer is better..thats the rule so far.

u tried another 2sticks that u just bought?
not all eco perform the same.. so my guess, both kit not using the same ramchip..

and also for me there is no "optimal voltage" since i dont clock for daily usage.. esp ram.

changing the ACC firmware thing requires extra 1 reboot, so i just disable the other two cores tongue.gif

Nope, its the same 4 sticks that can do 1600mhz CAS5 @ 1.55v
well i duno why it need so much voltage and loosen so much timing just to reach 1705mhz doh.gif
need time to do experiment though.

2000mhz CAS 9 prolly need 1.7v above just like anyone else sweat.gif

Yea. I do realize stressing d CPU longer is better so tat we can determine whether is it safe to operate in d long term.

if im not mistaken u need to launch cpu-z 1st before runnin wprime, with that u dun even need to set d thread count iirc. smile.gif

Wei udah udah, u org baru kawen mau jadik assistant promoter ka? laugh.gif

IMO even doing multimedia task doesn't really tax the cpu kaw kaw, coz usually the thread will jump from one core to another.. hmm.gif
To me only prime, orthos & OCCt usually will work ur cpu kaw kaw.. sweat.gif

Hahahaha for i believe with 3d games its more taxing on the GPU if u do that, memory maybe up 2/3 & cpu by 1/2 laugh.gif
