haha, last time the seller told me the culprit is value ram.
because he face same case before.
and after change to performance ram,
the HTT clock can push higher. biggrin.gif

might be and might not..
but cuz i can say 26x is too low..i think most value ram can handle..
when we talk about >300htt then yes, perhaps we need high performance ram..

take a look.. a KVR can do just fine..

this is nice. drool.gif
DDR2 667 5-5-5-15 ram at DDR2 800 4-4-4-10 speed. notworthy.gif
but how about the dram voltage for this?
and what is the software that show all the dram timing there? brows.gif

800 4-4-4 is not a wow i guess bro..

btw, it is CPU tweaker.
u can use AOD also, i like AOD more cuz its richer (by few only laugh.gif ) but the only turn down is applying the setting takes some time..

dram voltage is per AOD.. mem vddq.. 2.75v (i believe i set 2.1v in bios.. not so sure, old SS )

haha, but for me, it is. tongue.gif
but DDR2 value ram can stand 2.1v? and without active cooling on it.
some overclocking guide state dram voltage is most sensitive voltage among them.
improper use of it will result in burning dram chips. sad.gif
so i usually didn't touch dram voltage,
and don't know how is the safe way to play with dram voltage. sweat.gif

well.. depends on the ram chip itself..
u touch it, if not hot, then ok..if hot..then not ok..

in my case, 2.1v is very2 ok,but max i will go for daily usage.. not like our risk taker.good tweaker sir antonio.. set his ddr3 to 2.4v iinm laugh.gif

1 ram that i know is hot is tracer.. with d9s inside.. but some models have rated voltage 2.1v..so still i think even its hot,it can stand the heat and the vdimm..huu

if u afraid getting ur sticks killed, so better not.. make 2.0v max.. btw, ur KVR using what chip/ic?

i see.
hmm, i didn't really pay attention to the chips. sweat.gif
later when i clean up casing only see la. biggrin.gif

would like to ask if I'm doing things right, a tiny oc, but somethings not right with the ram setting, it says I'm running 1465 speed. I've post some value can anyone check if things is right? tq

1st, use CPUZ cuz that is the software everyone trust..

and if the value there correct, yes..it runs at 1465mhz..
with 1333 divider..

220MHz x 10/3 = 733MHz
equivalent to DDR3 1466. biggrin.gif

Don't worry ur doing it right, its normal when u oc using a multiplier lock cpu, when u raise the bus speed/htt speed ur ram would be overclocked as well.. smile.gif

Now I upped the the frequency to 230 x 15 = 3450
But I lowered the ram to x5.33 = 1225

Will it be better?

If u just wanna oc ur cpu, sure that would be good, u won't put much stress on ur rams smile.gif
Keep ur HTlink speed 2000mhz & below tho, u won't get any benefit from high htlink speed, in fact it can cause instabilities in ur oc if u went overboard with it hmm.gif

FSB 230
memory 1225 - 5.33
