crap i think it was the heat... tried up vcore 1.4 prime ... the temp goes 70'C

dfi site got beta bios mar... all support x6 one

ic, cuz im using the beta / non official bios.dated may 2010 i guess. so u using the official?
date of the bios? the bios im using now is not so good..that is why asking u the best bios u tested.. i dont have time to try one by one..if u have feeling that a particular bios is best, kindly share with me

me also not test other bios yet... i will tell if found any good one

Anyone here doing NB overclocking? can post your NB speed and voltage?
ima trying to run the NB at 2.7GHz/1.325v but system always hang when stressing with prime95@512KFFT

Previously can run 3GHz NB when using Ripjaws 2K, iirc it was stable at 1.35v, now using 4x of ECO everythings become harder already

Its the heat causing the issue IINM~

3250Mhz w/ 1.5V on FXA UD7!

1.5v kind high leh, my ud7 running on air only.
damn i think i didnt stress enough when using ripjaws, prime95 blend only but its pretty stable.

Btw just now tried 3GHz at 1.375v, instant reboot within afew minutes after stressing with 512K FFT

3.92GHz@1.425v lol

Dont compare it with LN2 runing~ its to much diff...

Mine w/ LN2 NB 4500MHz speed w/ 1.5V!

i would say 3k nb w/ 1.28125v for 24/7 is sweet...

no bro, in fact, it's d other way round. d more u stress d cpu-nb (so called imc), d quicker u'll hit d wall of cpu clock. but phenom oc aint all about cpu clock only, imc plays an import role in boostin overall performance. a sweet spot of cpu clock, ram + imc frequency is needed for 24/7 imo. if u have a pair of 2k (7-9-7 preferred) capable ram, d chip u have is good @ 3.75GHz cpu clock (250*15), 3k nb & 2k ram...

i dun have good ram here

Mushkin ram also not bad, and ram pricing now quit cheap~
