1. Should be similar with N82 since its using Quad core and dedicated GPU...
2. Well, L4D should be fine, but others model mentioned is much much better,...
3.For now, HD5730 > GT425M, though GT425M has the potential to be better than HD5730...

Ow. So hard to compare. i saw dell Studio XPS 16 have HD5730. but i am more into ASUS. blush.gif

hmm. But i myself prefer Nvidia more than Ati.
Issit possible that GT425M will be better than HD5730 after driver update?
GT425M still can play the sims 3/L4D smoothly without lag rite?

Yes, can, no problem...
Just for comparison, SXPS 16 would give bigger workspace since it has higher resolution....

Weight - 4820TG
Price - 4820TG
Gaming Performance - 4820TG, since SXPS 16 has higher resolution, lower performance and HD5730 is just OC'ed HD5650, 4820TG can achieve the same with a bit of OC...
Battery Life - 4820TG
Multimedia usage - SXPS 16
Warranty - Dell got onsite...

meaning 4820 have more winning factors? actually i'm not really using it for heavy gaming just minor gaming but more of the time i will do photo editing, movies, and surfing.

thinking dell sxps would be good cause it comes with HD. hmm.gif

ya.......sxps wins in the screen.

but other than that...........you gotta really consider the battery life advantage, 2.5h compared to 8h? moreover 4820 offers more horsepower and lighter also!

8h is on idle la =p, if u stress photoshop, i think 3h+ compared to xps below 2h.

Well, 4820TG is also HD but not Full HD which one of SXPS features...like lee_what said, overall 4820TG sure is better than SXPS but then again, if you are concern about the resolution (as in you dun game much and more on multimedia works), a FHD would be nice, can get a bigger work space (view).

But do take note that 4820TG battery life is way better than SXPS, if you are the type to go out often with your laptop then maybe it would be a nicer choice but then again, if you stick the laptop where power outlet is always available then should be no problem nod.gif

So, conclusion :

Want overall performance = Acer 4820TG
Full HD and good warranty service = Dell SXPS 16 (bigger reso and screen also)

Where got adapter is 1kg sweat.gif..well, like i said, if portability is an issue then 4820TG sure is the answer but if want Full HD and less care about battery, SXPS is a good choice nod.gif
